So much looking forward to this. It has been a pain exporting slides from figma to Google slides and then editing them!

Are Figma Slides compatible with assistive technology such as screen readers? It’s often a problem with slide decks because of all the imagery and decorative elements. I hope Figma is leading by example by building accessibility into the product so we don’t have to keep reminding our colleagues to make their presentations accessible and inclusive.

Please for the love of all things Figma please add Image Reference as the next tool! Example: Mark any frame as an image reference and link it to another frame. Any changes to the reference frame will make an image fill in the linked frames and will always be linked until you unlink it. If anyone here actively uses the tool in real world applications you’ll know how critical this feature actually is. Your welcome Figma world 🌎 but seriously if this exists already as a plugin please send my way or if you make it a real tool please let me beta test it!

Wow! This may to do Google Slides what Google Slides did to Microsoft Powerpoint. I'd love to know more about your strategy for making this information findable in a company's source of truth, then track its utilization. I've run into challenges with content management systems – perhaps you've already sold this. Happy to talk in private (I have nothing to sell – just happy to help the community!)

I started using this. There is a steep learning curve. What have observed is the Figma slides carries the object manipulation concepts from Figma, which is extremely powerful, and then applies them on Slides. the switch between creation mode and presentation mode is a little bit tricky to figure out. This makes a few options appear and disappear, the lay panel as an example. but so far, it has been fun!!!!

Today, I saw the product update popup in Figma and was impressed by how effectively they updated users and engaged them with new features. I liked it so much that I created a short video about it. https://youtu.be/mNIl_CjlnVE. I will give the slides a try.
