It's exciting when a Ford team member's idea turns into reality -- or in this case, mixed reality! Shout out to Alonzo Fischer at Dearborn Engine Plant for putting this training into practice. #WeAreFord #AugmentedReality
When we’re at our best, solutions for improving quality come from all levels of the business. Several years ago, Alonzo Fischer, an hourly employee at Ford Motor Company's Dearborn Engine Plant started exploring cutting-edge solutions to help his colleagues with training and skills development. This led to the implementation of an Augmented Reality (AR) platform for training employees on critical quality-related tasks. This program has already dramatically improved the quality and efficiency of training employees to help us better serve our customers. Already other plants, like Rawsonville Components Plant, have adopted the same technology for their quality training needs. Thanks to Joann Muller of Axios for stopping by Dearborn Engine to demo it for herself! https://lnkd.in/eyT3ZKpC
