Led by Earlybird Venture Capital Digital East Fund with participation from Laton Ventures, this funding will help Grand Games build its team and develop its games. Harsh and I just completed a review of ‘23 and planning for ‘24 for Hathora. It was pretty crazy to see how different the Hathora feels today compared to Jan ‘23. We’ve onboarded countless AA and AAA level customers and deepened the value prop of our core product. Every day new teams make accounts to deploy on Hathora — something we knew was possible, but now we are seeing it in real-time. The gaming industry at large certainly took some significant hits in ‘23 and with the Unity layoff announcement for Q1 of ‘24 it doesn’t look like it’s slowing too quickly. This year I’m most excited about our blockbuster game launches. Of course I can’t share them yet, but there are some super games coming out and we can’t wait to have a small piece of their launch day story. On the social media front, I’m looking forward to using LinkedIn to share insights at the intersection of infrastructure x gaming. Follow along for that here. The gaming world only gets more exciting as teams look to launch games that reach millions who want to play them in real time.
