MOD Pizza's #MODSQUAD is 11K employees strong. This brand was born in 2008 to disrupt the #restaurantindustry with a people-first culture, eliminating barriers to employment. Robert Notte, VP of Tech for the brand on stage now at #MURTECSummit with Hospitality Technology's Abigail Lorden Leonhard.
They rarely talk about staffing challenges b/c they have a real social impact strategy: opportuinty, stability, mobility and advocacy.
🔥 Eliminated background checks for entry-level positions.
🔥MOD partners with non-profits to help find, recruit, train & hire individuals facing barriers. Example: Talent pool for candidates who may have development and intellectual disabilities.
🔥Stability. Homeless, bridge fund campaign. One day a guy biked to work and his bike got stolen, so now there is a fund to help with one-time grants to help those in need.
🔥MOD Clear program - free legal support to have criminal records expunged. Living under a bridge, now he's the assistant genreal manager of one of our stores.
🔥Mobility. Helps employees with educational support, via college degrees (partnering with other programs to help them be successful).
🔥Advocacy. Working via the Workforce & Justice Alliance Program, MOD helps to eliminate barriers to those who have justice issues.
Robert Notte says he joined the brand about 6 years ago. The people-first culture weighed favorably in his personal decision to work for the brand. "Whenever I want to get inspired, I just go to one our stores and chat with our Squad. It's so motiving and inspiring to work for a brand like MOD."
WOW.
Proud to be celebrating 5 incredible years at WLDD Private Limited
Wow, time flies when you’re having fun (and handling every challenge thrown your way)! Five years ago, I joined WLDD as an Operations Manager when we were just a tiny team of 7. Today, we’re a strong family of 200, and what a ride it’s been!
Coming from a computer science background, I never imagined I’d wear so many hats. From diving into social media marketing and mastering people management, to learning finance, analytics, and process building from scratch—you name it, I’ve probably done it! Each new challenge was a chance to grow, even when it felt like I was riding a roller coaster.
There were moments when I lost my confidence, but WLDD has this magical way of helping you find it again. The best part? Every idea here gets a chance to shine. For someone like me, who used to struggle with speaking up, this has been a game-changer. It’s a place where every voice is heard, and that’s something truly special.
Today, I’m proud to be the COO of WLDD, and I’ve come to embrace being a jack of most trades—because I’ve mastered quite a few along the way! I’m incredibly proud to have helped create an environment where everyone feels respected and valued. This journey has been full of ups and downs, but it’s made me who I am today. Here’s to many more years of growth, learning, and, of course, a bit of fun along the way! 🚀
Cheers to this amazing company and the journey !!

🎵 Kicking off my Techstars Demo Day presentation with Dolly Parton's iconic "9 to 5" was not just a musical choice, but a statement. Released in 1980, this song encapsulates a powerful message about the working life.
It's more than just an earworm; "9 to 5" delves into the daily grind and frustrations faced by the working class, especially those in office jobs. It's a blend of celebration and critique, highlighting the often mundane and unrewarding aspects of the 9-to-5 routine, while also embracing themes of empowerment and resilience.
As I presented my project, these themes resonated deeply. Parton's lyrics speak to the desire for better opportunities and the drive to overcome professional challenges. Her upbeat melody offers a stark contrast to the song's deeper commentary on work life, making it a timeless anthem for workers everywhere.
The song also served as the theme for the eponymous comedy film starring Parton, further exploring the complexities of office work. In the startup world, where we constantly strive for innovation and breaking the mold, "9 to 5" serves as a reminder of the importance of creating work environments that are rewarding, empowering, and respectful of the individual.
Let's keep striving for workplaces where everyone can sing their own tune! 🌟

Dolly Parton tells Business Insider her best career advice is to find "who you are, and do it on purpose."
Most fans know about her popular hits, philanthropy, and acting career, but the country legend is also the co-owner of two companies. Parton cofounded Sandollar Productions, which coproduced the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series and movie, with her former manager Sandy Gallin in 1986, per Entertainment Weekly.
That same year, Parton partnered with Herschend Enterprises to form The Dollywood Company and transform a theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, into Dollywood, according to its website. Parton still co-owns the theme park, which now includes a dinner theater and waterpark.
Parton says that not everyone is "destined to great success," but encourages Gen Z workers to work hard and take advantage of their talent and opportunities.

I loved creating this content which showcases Wiser's company culture - but why is that important?
💜 Company culture is like a business's personality. It's not just about what we do, but how we do it - with teamwork, creativity, and fun. This culture isn't just for us; it's a magnet for new business too. How? 🧐
🔍 Transparency - Just like unwrapping gifts, we're open and transparent, building trust with clients and partners.
📈 Engagement - Our team's energy and enthusiasm is contagious - it's a vibe that clients and ambassadors love to be part of.
💡 Innovation - Our creative culture breeds innovation, showing potential clients that we think outside the (gift) box.

One year ago I stepped down as CEO of WOAW, the company I founded when I was 21. I dedicated 5 years of my life to turning an idea into the undisputed market leader in the Personal Branding space ⤵
I was proud of what I had built, but it wasn't my 'baby' anymore:
It was a full-blown adult.
An adult that needed a different skillset to elevate it even higher.
Enter Freddie Paxton.
One year ago Fred stepped up as the CEO of WOAW.
Here's what followed:
1. Achieved our highest ever client retention
2. Ideated and launched new business verticals
3. Created even better campaigns for our clients
Succeeding in business is about making bold decisions.
Firing myself and hiring Fred wasn't just a bold decision.
It wasn't just a good decision.
It was the best decision of my entire career.
Congratulations on 1-Year of Excellence Freddie Paxton.
Here's to another year full of bold decisions, second-to-none execution and raising the bar for the Personal Branding Space.
