🌐✈️ Excited to be a part of the upcoming CT Partners travel conference, where I'll be discussing some of the emerging themes in the travel industry. One key challenge we'll delve into is how legacy technology #UX with lack of full content #NDC is driving out-of-channel bookings, with ripple effects that impact both travel resellers and consumers. 📉 Legacy technology can be a significant roadblock, leading to suboptimal economics for travel resellers. It often results in inefficiencies, added costs, and complications in managing bookings outside the traditional channels. This translates into a less competitive landscape for travel businesses. 💼 On the consumer side, the consequences are equally significant. Outdated systems can lead to a poor user experience, causing frustration and potentially driving customers away. How were the winner’s decided? To be shortlisted as a finalist you had to score above benchmark against quality-based criteria and pass a rigorous three-tier assessment process of independent judging, auditing and due diligence. Only nominees who were above the benchmark were named as a finalist, ensuring that everyone honoured tonight is worthy of that accolade. (Even those nominees who did not make the benchmark will receive constructive feedback from our judges.) Up to three winners were announced in each category – gold, silver and bronze. The finalist with the highest score in their state or territory will be named as the Best Street Art Experience from that state or territory. Finally, the Gold winner who impressed the judges most and received the highest overall score was crowned with the ultimate title of Best of the Best. #australia #tourism #excellence #awards #arttourism
