If you’re working with offshore teams, you probably already realize that cultural understanding is as crucial as technical skills. The eagerness to please and deliver quickly sometimes overshadows the need for sustainable and maintainable solutions. I understand this because I run a software house and we constantly manage offshored projects. From my POV, building a rapport and understanding the work culture is vital. Leads to more effective communication and clearer expectations. Despite the challenges, the benefits – like cost savings and access to a large talent pool – are undeniable.
