The Clarksons Shipping Forum, that I've attended together with my colleague from the Marine division Katja Lassila was an enlightening experience offering a deep dive into the shipping industry's changing landscape. Engaging with Clarksons' researchers and industry peers from various sectors was a great opportunity to exchange views of the challenges and opportunities ahead the Maritime industry. A takeaway is that with gradual energy transition we can anticipate a growth rate of 1.5-2% up to 2045, with the geopolitical and regulatory landscapes continuing to exert significant influence, and more disruptions adding up to the complexity, that we need to navigate through. #alfalaval #shipbuilding #Maritimeindustry

This has an interesting US citizen slant and touches on insurance issues faced with the USCG flagged yachts outside of US waters. The global community, with unanimous acknowledgment, pays sincere homage to Braille on World Braille Day, emphasizing the enduring importance of this tactile script in fostering awareness among the general public. The primary objective of dedicating World Braille Day to scrutiny is to underscore the widespread acknowledgment of the Braille method. Even in the contemporary era, the omission of Braille format integration by institutions such as banks, hospitals, and restaurants is a matter of concern. This neglect, along with the apparent lack of encouragement, denies individuals facing visual impairment rightful access to information, perpetuating barriers that should have been dismantled by now. MidwayUSA, an Internet Retailer for Shooting, Hunting and the Outdoors, is as one of three recipients of the 2021 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. A recipient of the 2009, and 2015 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, MidwayUSA is one of only two organizations to earn the award for a third time since the first award cycle in 1988. I volunteered with Midway staff on the  Missouri Excellence Award, the state level Baldridge award. As you might imagine MidwayUSA does many things effectively but what I’ve always found interesting is how they document (thousands) of processes that support serving their customers. In light of recent airline industry issues contributing to flight cancelations, along with food and drug recalls I wonder how many how companies spend the energy to document and continually improve processes impacting their internal and external customers?
