June is Pride Month–a time to celebrate the resilience of the LGBTQ+ community and their progress in pursuit of equality and acceptance. It’s a time for reflection, education, and connection. Manchester Industries remains an ally and offers a supportive workplace where all employees feel safe, valued, and included. One simple way we can create a more accepting workplace is by adding pronouns to email signatures. Pronouns are how we identify ourselves apart from our names. Sharing your pronouns first can set a norm and encourage others to do the same. We don’t just talk about our commitment to inclusion, we choose to model it. #PrideMonth #DiversityAndInclusion

I wish everyone a Happy Pride Month. At this time in our history it is as important as ever for employers to recognize that organizational diversity leads to more informed decision making, a cohesive workforce and better economic outcomes. As we celebrate Pride Month I encourage you to educate and bring along those who oppose the tenants of this month long celebration; inclusion, acceptance, joy, belonging, diversity. These projectors of supposed 'virtue', who exist in most organizations and societies and who we all unfortunately have contact with, are the creators of exclusionary constructs that want to control you, maintain power and exert self-righteous mores rather than partner, grow and develop you as an individual. They exist to the detriment of social, corporate and organizational cohesion. Projected virtue in this sense is merely the marriage of caution and hypocrisy. Speak openly about this hypocrisy to reveal to them and the world that diversity is the reality of the human condition, even when they don't want to see it. We are more successful as a species and a society when the full rainbow is seen! Be Vocal Be Visible Be Yourself
Happy Pride Month to our LGBTQ+ colleagues, patients and neighbors! HCA Healthcare is committed to providing equitable healthcare for all patients and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace for colleagues. #PrideMonth

While people who are bisexual make up more than 58% of the LGBTQ+ population, their rates of being out at work and home, reports of discrimination, and sense of exclusion in LGBTQ+ spaces all point to significant challenges in the effort to achieve acceptance and understanding. In About that B: Bi+ Inclusion at Work, a new resource from Out & Equal (link below) and co-author bi+ advocate Robyn Ochs, the complicated road to bi+ inclusion is illuminated and mapped, with sections focusing on: 💗 understanding the diversity of identities and experiences inside of bi+ spaces 💜 examining the specific challenges faced by bi+ individuals 💙 looking at why these challenges happen; and providing effective, accessible, and clear guidance for organizations, ERGs, and individuals to be active allies to the bi+ community. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/g-F2nA3b #BisexualAwarenessWeek #WeAre
