Now Available: Behavioral Vital Signs™ Reports for Providers 📊 We surveyed mental health providers and here’s what we discovered: ➡️ Getting historical data from patient recall, like previous diagnoses or medication history, is challenging. ➡️ You want more standardized data, especially for your remote or telehealth patients. ➡️ You need more data on social engagement, mood patterns, and day-to-day activities. ➡️ You want a simple, easily accessible collection method for patients. We took your input and created our latest feature, Behavioral Vital Signs™ Reports. Patients who use the Health Rhythms app complete PHQ-9, GAD-7, and other surveys. Additionally, they're measuring passive sensing data from their phone’s sensors like out-of-bed time, social mobility, and walking rate. Together, this paints a clear picture of your patient’s mental health status. The Behavioral Vital Signs™ Report shows you their trends over time, highlights key areas for discussion, and helps you operate a data-driven practice. Your patients will receive the same report in the Health Rhythms app. How would you use a report like this with your patients? Here's an example of the report:

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. I want to take a moment to highlight the importance of mental health and the role that data and informatics play in advocating for and treating mental health conditions. Mental health is an integral part of our overall well-being, yet it often carries a stigma that prevents individuals from seeking help. It's crucial that we work together to remove this stigma and create a supportive environment where people feel comfortable discussing their mental health concerns and accessing the resources they need. As someone with a background in nursing and health/clinical/biomedical informatics, I have seen firsthand the power of data and technology in improving mental health outcomes. Real-world data, which is collected from various sources such as electronic health records, claims data, and patient-reported outcomes, provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of treatments, the prevalence of mental health conditions, and the barriers to accessing care. By leveraging this data, we can identify gaps in care, develop targeted interventions, and ultimately improve the lives of those struggling with mental health issues. Informatics plays a crucial role in this process by enabling us to collect, analyze, and interpret vast amounts of data, leading to data-driven decision-making and personalized treatment plans. This Mental Health Awareness Month, let's come together to break the stigma, support one another, and recognize the importance of data and informatics in driving positive change in mental healthcare. Together, we can make a difference. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #BreakTheStigma #RealWorldData #HealthInformatics

ŌURA’s new Share Report feature launched today in partnership with leading online behavioral health company, Talkspace. This partnership is especially important and personal to me. For those who use Oura Ring, you know that it’s a treasure trove of helpful information that can indicate how you’re doing when it comes to sleep, recovery, and overall wellness. The reason a tool like Oura Ring is so helpful is that it gives your body a voice that can sometimes be hard to discern without the data to back it up. When you rely on self-reporting when working with healthcare professionals, there is often a gap between what you perceive and what is really going on internally. We know our members frequently use screenshots to share their ŌURA data with healthcare providers to give them a better understanding of overall well-being day-to-day and ongoing trends. The Share Report is a completely user-led and voluntary way to make sharing easier and more effective for those who choose to do it. As part of the kickoff, Talkspace’s Council of Mental Health Experts was included in ŌURA’s initial focus group testing on the feature so we could be sure that the information included is useful and easy to understand. Our mission is to make being well a reality for as many people as possible. That starts with understanding, education, and communication. We’re just getting started! #WithOura https://lnkd.in/gGZr45aa
Today, ŌURA introduces a new way Oura Members can own their health data and share it securely and safely with others, such as trusted healthcare professionals. Our new Share Report feature, developed in partnership with leading online behavioral health company Talkspace, is now available in the app. ŌURA’s mission is to empower our members to take total control of their health from the inside out. The Share Report feature allows Oura members to download and share their personal Sleep and Daily Movement insights with trusted health partners and providers in an easy-to-digest format created with them in mind. Talkspace’s Council of Mental Health Experts were included in ŌURA’s initial focus group testing, and ŌURA provided Talkspace’s network of 4,000+ licensed therapists, psychiatrists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners with guidance on interpreting the data and how they can use it as part of an individual’s care. Both ŌURA and Talkspace believe in pioneering new ways of integrating physical and mental health, helping people to improve their quality of life and helping to promote body literacy and open communications between people and their healthcare partners. A useful summary of the progress and learning in introducing digital programs in secondary care mental health services. It remains early days in maximising the digital opportunities for those accessing these services but the introduction of ICBT in secondary care teams is clearly liked and viewed as useful by the people we see 💻👍
