HG DO TOUGH MUDDER 2024 🏃♂️ We are back and (hopefully) better this year! Last year we just about managed the 5k. Well, the 5k has now been scrapped and we are taking on 10k and 20 obstacles. Last year's highlights included Mathew Holden giving himself an epileptic fit by running head-first into the electric shock therapy. This year we are running for Great Ormond Street - a charity many of you will know, who focus on caring and supporting for critically ill children and their families. All donations will go towards helping to fund their groundbreaking research, cutting-edge medical equipment, and the building and refurbishment of child-centred facilities. Please donate if you can 🙏 https://lnkd.in/e_XCj7V3

🌟 **Together, We Can Make Wishes Come True!** 🌟 Hi LinkedIn community, I’m reaching out on behalf of The Learning Experience Palm Valley, which has the incredible honor of partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation—a remarkable organization dedicated to granting the heartfelt wishes of children battling critical illnesses. 🔹 Why It Matters: Every child deserves a dose of happiness, hope, and a break from their daily challenges. What's better than one load of laundry... TWO of course! For the next 24 hours, every dollar raised through The Sudsy Challenge will be DOUBLED, up to a total of $30,000 by a very generous donor. You heard that right, that means a $24 donation will double to $48, but most importantly one load of laundry becomes two for our friends experiencing homelessness. Every donation to The Sudsy Challenge helps change the lives of people experiencing homelessness, providing access to free laundry, warm showers and most importantly a place for genuine conversation. Help us make double the impact through The Sudsy Challenge today: http://bit.ly/3Y1Ldri

For families in need, like Cali and Logan's, Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital becomes like a home and our team members become like family. Just like any home, you need to have a plan to replace items that have a limited lifespan, whether that’s an appliance, a vehicle, or even the shingles on your roof. Our Hospital also has a long list of items that it tracks for repair or replacement, and we prioritize that list each year to determine where the greatest needs are, and what can we afford. Our list is in the tens of millions of dollars, and just like most homeowners, we never have enough funding to purchase everything. That’s where fundraising efforts like Giving Tuesday really make a difference. Community donations and support allow Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital to make important upgrades to our equipment. Donations, like yours, help our Hospital feel like home to those who need it most. When you donate on Giving Tuesday, Orillia Home Hardware Building Centre will match your donation. Double the babies, double the impact. https://lnkd.in/gFfuza4x

EI’LL BE UP ALL NIGHT FOR WA FAMILIES WITH SICK KIDS This year, I will be walking in an overnight marathon. It won't be easy, but I am determined to push through every step, knowing that the difficulties I face during this marathon are nothing compared to the immense challenges families with sick kids experience. I’m raising funds for RMHC to support families with sick kids. I want to support those who have kids with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), which my child has. EDS is a disorder that affects your connective tissues — primarily your skin, joints and blood vessel walls. Vascular and organ rupture are the most feared and fatal complications of some forms of EDS. Unfortunately, it is a life long condition that requires support of multiple specialists and doctors. It is an often misunderstood condition, diagnosis can be difficult and too often it is labelled as a factitious disorder, or “all in your head”. Kids can suffer from constant dislocations of joints and often require pain management to get through each day. Help me raise funds by donating to the link below. #UAN2024 #UpAllNight2024
