Preventing injuries when working at height is everyone's responsibility. Beyond operator training, all workers on a jobsite should understand how and where equipment should be used properly. In the event of an injury or accident, all employees must be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to act and prevent further damage. Aerial lifts are commonly used devices that provide temporary access for people or equipment in hard-to- reach areas, usually overhead. Aerial lifts have replaced ladders and scaffolding on many job sites due to their mobility and flexibility. But this equipment can be hazardous to both operators and employees working nearby. Common hazards include falls, ejection from the platform, electrocution from exposed wires and power lines, collapsing structures, and falling objects. Lift operators and others working near the vehicles must be able to recognize hazards and follow safe work practices and operating procedures to prevent accidents and injuries This training resource is for use by health and safety managers, officers, and trainers to train on Aerial Lift Safety. When this training is complete, operators of aerial lifts and those working near the devices will be able to identify aerial lift hazards, safely operate equipment, properly inspect the aerial lift and take precautions to prevent accidents and injuries. 🔸 Complete Training Pack: PowerPoint Slide Trainer’s Guide Speaker’s Note Quiz Exercise 1 Exercise 2 Handout Attendance Sheet Training Evaluation Form Download Link 👉: https://lnkd.in/e78cVea8...
