Help us welcome a few new members of the Development and Alumni Relations team! Kevin Christopher, IT Manager, Advancement Services. He leads a team of data analysts and data engineers, providing strategic information and data management. Matt Covey, associate director of development, Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. He identifies and cultivates relationships with prospective major and planned giving donors in the Texas and Southeast territory of the United States. Rachel Gibbons, administrative supervisor, Neurology and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She manages the administrative team, oversees team organizational projects, and is executive assistant to the executive director. Taylor Green, assistant director of development, Homewood Programs - Young Alumni Giving and Student Philanthropy. He oversees athletic giving for young alumni for all varsity sports. In addition, Taylor oversees the Black and Blue Society which manages current student-athlete philanthropy. April C. Horton, chief development officer, Center for Talented Youth. April will take on the leadership of CTY's Development and Alumni Relations team. She is enthusiastic about using the impact of philanthropy to create positive educational opportunities for young people. Thomas Julian, CIR, PRC, CDSP, executive recruiter, Talent Management and Human Resources. He manages the full life cycle recruiting process for various roles in DAR, focusing on leadership-level roles. Shannon Lopez, executive assistant, Office of the Vice President. She manages calendars, internal and external communications, administrative responsibilities, and projects. Julia Mittereder, annual giving officer, Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Gun Violence Solutions. She oversees the center’s individual annual giving program, which includes direct response appeals, donor data, and donor stewardship. Erin Pelletier, proposal manager, Principal Gifts. She writes principal gift level proposals, leadership briefings, and correspondence and manages the proposal process. Erin also supports special projects such as the campaign and sesquicentennial. Julia Rogers, senior development coordinator, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Foundation. Julia supports the donor engagement team, including the Community, Corporate, Events, Marketing, and Communication teams. Jessie Su, MBA, PMP, associate director of alumni relations, Carey Business School. She focuses on Carey's alumni engagement metrics and regional and affinity networks, and works with the Dean's Alumni Advisory Board. Alexander Ulfelder, assistant director of development, Neurology. He leads leadership annual giving and alumni giving and engagement efforts for the department.
