My first piece for Techstrong Group is on that shimmering jewel called AI, which has some cracks in it.

Excellent as expected, Jon! While I'm extraordinarily intrigued and encouraged by the potential with #AI—especially with integrations beyond #GenAI like opportunities at the edge with #IoT for #HealthTech, we still need to establish an ongoing commitment to ethics AND #CyberSecurity. Still in the infancy stages, but many experiences have shown the cracks you mentioned ... as #LLMs are increasingly meaning "large lacking models." Much to be determined, my friend.

It's nice to see that at least one grand San Francisco tradition — the boom-and-bust cycle — doesn't seem to be going anywhere!

Very interesting article. I agree we need so many more regulations and guardrails in place around AI. I do think the integrations into Apple devices will streamline the users' experience as they test out GenAI within the iphone, ipad and other devices.

I never viewed aAI as an inpenetrable wall . . ..
