My team is hiring a colleague to work on the NPR Public Editor project. Looking for an early career journalist who is interested in media criticism. It's never boring! https://lnkd.in/eBaTv_jt
I am def not early career, but what a great gig!
Why an "early career" journalist?
Agreeing with Richard Eisenberg's question, and adding: What if early career journalists happen to be older career changers?
It is probably limited to early-career journalists due to pay! But to be really effective in this position and not fall into the game of same-old-same-old, requires an experienced journalist who has experience looking at news and topics from all sides and angles!
And isn’t this a type of ageism??
I covered the 2000 election and 9/11 at the CBS affilate in Boston as part of 16 years in news. I’ve been out of news since 2010 and have STRONG opinions on the news coverage we see today. 😢
Hi! I’m extremely interested in this position! I’m definitely applying and would love to chat about this position more!
“Early career”, so what if I were 60 and starting a new career in Journalism?
Out of curiosity, why limit to “early career journalist” applicants?
