Sweet success: Uncrustables are no longer just lunch box staples for kids. The frozen crustless sandwiches are increasingly being packed into sports bags and even briefcases across the states, as adults increasingly rely on them for sustenance in the age of ultra-convenience. JM Smucker, the company behind Uncrustables and other favorites like Folgers Coffee and Jif peanut butter, is working hard to keep up with demand. Sales for the snack rose 11% in the latest quarter, and the company is continually investing in its production facilities to keep churning out the 4 million needed each day to sate America’s growing appetite. Uncrushable The school lunch specials started life in 1995 as Incredible Uncrustables, after two friends decided to mass-produce their kids’ favorite sandwiches: PB&Js without the crusts. The pair managed to secure a controversial — and since-rescinded — patent on their “sealed crustless sandwiches”, going on to sell the brand to Smuckers for ~$1 million in 1999. From ad-hoc media reports, we’ve pieced together the sales of Uncrustables, and it's a chart that wouldn’t look out of place from a hot tech start-up. With a widening range of crustless offerings, such as chocolate hazelnut spread and taco bites, JM Smucker shipped some $685 million of the snack in FY2023, and sales are expected to reach $800 million this fiscal year. Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest. #dataviz #datavisualization #uncrustables #smuckers #jmsmucker

🔥 Looking for a last-minute gift for Mom or planning ahead for that hard-to-buy for Dad? Look no further! Support this fantastic family-owned startup founded by my friend Cedric Corbett 🎁 I like to refer to this as "The YETI Cooler of Sauce Dipping Vessels" - this is a stainless steel wing caddy 🍗 - and it is an absolute game changer! For brands, this could be perfect to bundle with your sauces, added to a subscription box, or sold in sauce-centric retail environments 💼 - use code BKYD for an exclusive discount and elevate your dip game this summer! ☀ Give them a follow here at Sauce Box and get in touch if you think there could be larger ways to collaborate with them. Not just for sauce freaks either...it has helped my picky toddlers get excited about meal time and dipping all sorts of snacks and toddler staples like Dino Nuggets and Fish Sticks. 🐟 And for my fellow NewEnglandahhhhs- this gem keeps drawn butter hot and is a must-have for Lobstahhhs & Steamahhhs at your clambakes. Let's dip into summer and get geared up for Memorial Day Weekend! 🦐 #saucelover #cpgbrands #supportsmallbusiness #productinnovation

Lately I've been in my bag... grocery bag, that is! 🛒 🛍 Super excited to have partnered with The Fresh Market twice this summer on two separate campaigns. In June I created content to promote their New Hot & Fresh Pizzas and last week I participated in their "A Summer to Savor" campaign, which was all about picking the freshest ingredients to craft the perfect summer picnic or BBQ. Get into these pizzas, though! 🍕 #TheFreshMarket #SocialMediaStrategy #InfluencerMarketing #SocialMediaMarketing #ContentCreator

We’ve crunched the numbers and the results are in! During The Big Game earlier this month, we found that Bud Ice and Keystone Light were the top beer sellers at convenience stores across the midwest. Compared to 2023, this was nothing new for Bud Ice, but Keystone Light took the winning spot from Bud Light. As for salty snacks, Cheddar Sour Cream Ruffles and Flamin' Hot Cheetos were the crowd favorites. This differed from last year’s data where Nacho Cheese Doritos came out on top. Curious to see how these trends played out at your stores? Taiga's Front Office Platform not only allows you to monitor real-time trends but also forecasts your best-selling items, ensuring you're ready for the next big game! #DataDriven #WeKnowTheData #TheBigGame #ConvenienceStore

We're now in all PCC Community Markets in the Puget Sound region! Having grown up with PCC and knowing that was my target customer, it was my ultimate goal for the PNW region for Queen of Hearts Superfoods. I didn't realize how true that would be. People in grocery often say it's "easy to get on shelves", but with PCC that was not the case, and now I understand why, and respect their slow and thoughtful approach. We are one of a small handful of brands that get to share shelf space in what is typically a very busy category - shelf-stable salad dressings. But PCC carries a limited number of quality brands in the space. It was when I started doing demos at their 16 stores last week, when I received affirmation all the work was paying off. Customers would come up and congratulate me like no other demo I've done. Tasters would leave with multiple bottles. Some would come up and grab a bottle without even sampling, stating "You're in PCC, you HAVE to be good." I almost cried. That kind of trust in a store and connection to store values is PRICELESS. I'm running around Seattle doing a PCC Tasting Tour this weekend at Ballard, both Greenlake stores, and Viewridge - come try our dressing with our Sassy Quinoa Salad. Or just come say hello! It's been awesome visiting my old hood and chatting it up with customers who care about what goes in and behind their food! #realfood #nojunk #foodasmedicine #salad #foodentrepreneur #femalefounder #foodandbeverage #cpgbrands #pccmarkets
