Career Development Professional. I help job seekers to confidently and effectively market themselves to employers.
I know this is a career networking platform, and I am grateful to have this opportunity to network with all of you wonderful people, but one thing is important to remember: We are more than what we do for a living. The office cleaner deserves just as much respect as the banker or lawyer. There is more to life than hustle culture and maximizing productivity. We are daughters, sons, father, grandparents, artists, writers, and so many other wonderful things. Most of all, we are unique individuals who are worthy of respect and consideration no matter what we are doing for a living. It's OK to rest at the end of a work day! It's OK not to turn your passion for art into a side hustle! You are worthy even when you're not being productive and not pursuing professional growth. Recognizing this can help prevent career burnout and can paradoxically make you more productive and creative both at work and beyond...but it's about more than that. Above all, you are a unique individual, and you deserve a break! #burnout #capitalism #productivity #growth #career

A successful career means something different to everyone. For many, a successful career combines financial stability with their passions or something they enjoy. It's important that there is a good balance between these two factors to achieve happiness. Some people know exactly what they want, while others struggle to figure it out. This is completely normal, and the key to understanding what a successful career means to you includes a degree of introspection. You can't rely on others to determine your career or tell you when you're successful. This is something that is personal and unique to every individual. #career #careergrowth #buildingcareer.
