#Notice period 🚫 Hi Everyone, I've noticed something ! Many companies are expecting new hires to join within 1 month, or even 15 days , while their own policy dictates a 3-month notice period for employees leaving . ° ° ° Is this a fair double standard for #employees? ° ° ° On one hand, #companies want new #talent to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding delay ♀️. On the other hand, they restrict the mobility of their existing workforce with a lengthy notice period . Let's discuss! * What are your thoughts on this discrepancy? * Have you experienced a similar situation? (raise hand emoji) * How can we achieve a more balanced approach to notice periods?⚖️ #noticeperiod #workplacefairness #employeerights #talentmobility #Linkedin

The Onboarding process almost starts with the phone screen. It’s our first chance as a company to impress and set the tone for the potential new hires. Positive early interactions build excitement and trust, reflecting our commitment to excellence. A smooth process enhances our reputation and ensures new joiners feel valued from day one. But bad onboarding 👎🏼? It’s like inviting someone over and then ignoring them. And let’s not forget—lying to candidates is a disgrace behavior fot you as a recruiter. They will find out eventually, and it damages trust and morale. Always make sure that our new hires feel welcomed and excited since day one. #Onboarding #Recruitment #CompanyCulture #HR #TalentAcquisition

Employers have 44 days on average to "make or break" a new hire, and first impressions make a lasting impression, according to research. Almost half of employees have regrets or second thoughts about their new job within the first week and 23% cried during their first week, the report from BambooHR shows. The survey, which polled 1,565 full-time US employees and 500 HR professionals, also found that seven out of 10 new hires decide whether a job is the right fit within their first month. Onboarding and personal relationships play a key role in making a good impression. Respondents cited not knowing who to go to with questions, inadequate training and technology problems as frustrations for new hires. 💭 Do you find the first two months telling after being hired?
