🌟 Interview Tip Reminder! 🌟 Remember, the questions YOU ask in an interview are often as important as your answers. Why? They reflect your understanding of the role and your ability to engage critically, especially for positions like business analysts, project managers, and sales professionals where asking the right questions is a daily task. Use this golden opportunity to showcase your skills: - If obstacles were discussed, ask about the challenges the team is facing. - If innovation came up, could you ask about recent innovations the company is proud of? This approach not only demonstrates that you've been attentively listening but also that you're already thinking like a part of the team. And...remember your own set of criteria; it's also your chance to interview them. Want to dive deeper into crafting those perfect interview questions? 📹 Video interview? How do I master it? 📹 When applying to high finance roles, a common assessment method is video interviews through AI-powered platforms. A widely used example is HireVue, used by companies such as JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs, as well as others such as Hireflix. While competition for these roles is high, with 270,000 annual JP Morgan applications, you must be a stand-out candidate, and here are some general tips and tricks to help: ❓ Take advantage of the practice questions ❓ Practising questions and answers lowers the risk of messing up and also helps you become more confident, a trait employers value! Most on-demand interviews ask you to give your answer in just a couple of minutes, so timing practice is essential. 👥 Treat it like a normal interview 👥 Prepare for your HireVue as you would any job interview. Research the job and company, align your skills with requirements, and highlight learning ability, problem-solving, reliability, and teamwork. Create brief stories about past challenges, approaches, and results. Study them and feel comfortable discussing previous roles. Keep notes nearby for reference during the interview. This also means dressing appropriately, as if it were a normal interview. 🔑 Key words 🔑 Artificial intelligence is performed on the recorded videos, providing insights into candidates that help Bulge Bracket banks make better hiring decisions. Therefore using keywords tailored to the company you are applying for ensures you are meeting the company's requirements.

What are your greatest strengths? When responding to the interview question “What are your greatest strengths?” it’s important to be strategic and authentic. Here’s a structured approach to crafting a compelling answer: 1. Reflect on the Job Description: Before the interview, review the job description and identify the key competencies required. Align your strengths with these competencies to show that you’re a great fit for the role. 2. Choose Relevant Strengths: Select one or two strengths that are most relevant to the position. These could be technical skills, soft skills, or a combination of both. 3. Provide Context and Examples: For each strength, prepare a specific example that demonstrates how you’ve effectively used this strength in a professional setting. This could be a challenge you overcame, a project you led, or a positive impact you made at your previous job. 4. Quantify Your Impact: If possible, quantify the impact of your strengths with data or measurable results. This could be in terms of efficiency gains, revenue generated, or improved customer satisfaction. 5. Practice Your Delivery: Be confident but not arrogant. Practice delivering your response so that it comes across as natural and genuine during the interview.

"In other words, 91 percent of what determines how well someone will do in a job is completely missed by the interview process. It's like trying to predict the outcome of a chess match by watching the players set up the board. Interviews are thus not valid tools to assess people’s capabilities and the illusion that it is an accurate tool is costing businesses dearly." Is it time to replace job interviews? Not only do they seem to not clearly anticipate how well someone will do the job, they are also rife with opportunities for bias. But how do we reimagine the recruitment process without asking candidates to do unpaid labour and spend hours upon hours completing assessments and assignments? Would love to hear what you think!

✅ Want to find out if a company is right for you? An interview can be one of the best ways to know whether or not a company is suitable for you. By preparing questions at the end of your interview, you can understand if this company’s values and culture align with yours. Not sure what questions to ask? Here are some to consider: 📈 “How has your company adapted to recent industry changes or trends?” → You can see if this company has incentives to train their employees, and whether or not this position can help you grow professionally. 🤝 “Can you describe the company’s culture and core values?” → A company's culture can make or break your time at a job, and if it doesn’t match with you, you might find it more difficult to work together as a team. 🏆 “What 2 or 3 qualities define a top performer at your company?” → With this, you can find out what they expect from you as a candidate and the specific qualities to work on that can progress your career in the job. ⭐️Using "STAR" method to ace your job interview???? The STAR method is a structured approach used to answer behavioural interview questions and It helps individuals provide clear and concise responses by breaking down their experiences into key components: Situation, Task, Action, and Result.
