We had a great day celebrating our 30th anniversary at LINAK U.S. with food trucks, prizes and hanging out in the sun. Thanks to Mak-Mak’s Barbecue, Hot Buns Food Truck, and Ramiro's Cantina for bringing all the great food choices to our employees.
Happy Valentines Day to those that celebrate and/or recognize valentines day. My wife and I went for dinner last night and thinking about the Holiday it reminds me that as a consumer our expectations are high when it comes to the experience we expect. But how often do we think about the enviorement they are in to deliver to our expectations. Last night we were out and the atmosphere, location was amazing. Nice outdoor resturant just off the pier close to the water where you can see the boats passing into and out of the Panama canal. However the service was not great during the night my wife talked to the server to find out they were supposed to be closed yesterday (Carnivals in Panama) but the owners decided that morning to open, so they were less then half staff across the board and being a popular place they were slammed with customers. When we left, I had to acknowledge that sometimes poor service is not because the person we interact with, it is the support system behind the scenes we do not see that do not enable them to deliver that experience.
So as many of us head out tonight or through the week lets all keep in mind that we have a right to expect great service, but lets also remember many times when our expectation is not meet, it is not always the person we see or talk to most that caused it.

Sometimes, you’ve got to escape the daily grind and embrace pure celebration!
We just came back from Cabo San Lucas, celebrating our 20th anniversary, I was completely unplugged. No apps, no social media, no emails – just 4 and a half days of pure presence with my incredible wife. 🌅💑
This space we've created for creativity and connection has been magical.
We even took a cooking class at Flora Farms, which I initially thought was just for her, but it turned out to be an amazing experience. We made salsa, learned to make tortillas, and now we're bringing those flavors back home with us. 🍅🌮
So, here's the reminder – whether you're single or with a partner, take those moments to unplug and celebrate life.

The creative team ( and hopefully because of a excellent client brief) ticks many boxes in my view.
…But is doesn’t feel like a “tick box”creative that tries to do everything and ends up being “creative scrambled egg”like so many often do when a brief has to many objectives.
It’s also a “ risky” idea, but it works because it’s authentic and consumers would agree with a core message. The negativity of the idea works because the brand is celebrated or part of that human truth.
I think this is my favourite brand campaign this year.
I don’t know anyone on either client or agency side- I just love it!
