You choose “what” (m4.2xlarge). Let Xosphere choose “where” and you’ll save 50-80% on AWS EC2. You launch an On-Demand instance as usual, then Xosphere seamlessly moves apps to Spot. And if AWS sends a Spot reclaiming event, Xosphere moves the apps to On-Demand for reliability. Pretty cool, huh? #ec2 #aws #kubernetes #k8s #costoptimization #finops Xosphere

Azure Web PubSub for Socket.IO is now generally available. TL; DR Socket.IO library is natively supported on Azure. Since we public previewed this feature, we received positive feedback from users. Now we are happy to share that Web PubSub for Socket.IO is generally available, which means that Azure customers can expect stable APIs, SLAs customer support and it’s suitable for use in production. Follow this quickstarts guide to try out the feature. Check out the repo of a collaborative whiteboard app that showcases the use of Socket.IO APIs and how Azure handles scalability challenges. Rethinking Cloud Operating Systems with Rust Amazing post by John Boero I thorougly enjoyed it. And i do see the need of the hour here. with rust lot of things we can acheive in much robust and efficient way closer to kernels for instance! And i do see the untapped potential to come towards rust in all the divisions and further futuristic automations yet to come! TL;DR: It’s time to rethink the OS for modern cluster and cloud native computing. With C/C++ being phased out for Rust in security critical components of the OS, it’s an opportunity to rebuild init fresh for clusters and cloud estates based on secure languages like Rust. https://lnkd.in/eYRxibGB #rust #devops #systems #cloud #operations #automations

With the rapid development within Generative AI, much of the capabilities that has been exclusively available from large cloud providers can now run locally (either on your own computer or from your datacenter) Using tools like Ollama can be used as a foundation to serve LLMs locally and be used by a large ecosystem of tools and services. * Local Github Copilot with Continue (w/Codestral) * Personal Generative AI with Jan (w/Gemma) * RAG Application and Agent based framework with Anything LLM (with Phi-3)

Just explored the basics of Amazon VPC! Here’s what I accomplished: 👇 ✅ Created a Virtual Private Cloud using Amazon VPC, and learnt how IP addressing and CIDR blocks work. ✅ Set up a public subnet to automatically assign public IP addresses, ensuring any EC2 instances deployed in the subnet can be accessed from the internet. ✅ Attached an internet gateway to the VPC, which enables resources in my public subnet to send and receive traffic to and from the internet. 📸 Dive deeper into my journey by checking out the documentation below! 🙏 Massive thanks to @NextWork for the invaluable resources and community. https://lnkd.in/dwQK2dTR #AWS #CloudComputing #Networking #AmazonVPC

Innovating DevOps with AI: From Assistants to Agents | Optimizing Kubernetes Efficiency and Operations | The Future: Self-Driving Kubernetes Just Like Tesla
⚠️Podcast Alert⚠️: My First Guest Appearance on 'Geeking Out' with Adriana Villela I was a guest on the Geeking Out Podcast, hosted by the insightful Adriana Villela. The experience was not only enlightening but also incredibly fun. In our discussion, we covered a range of topics pivotal to the ever-evolving cloud-native landscape: 🔵 My Cloud Native Journey: We delved into how I started in this domain and the hurdles I've encountered along the way, particularly concerning the early adoption of pioneering technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. 🔵 Conversational AI & Kubernetes: I had the opportunity to share some thoughts on the immense potential of Conversational AI, especially when integrated seamlessly with Kubernetes. This convergence could be a real game-changer for customer engagement and business process automation. Product Alert from TC: NexaKube Assistant is coming soon! 🔵 On-Premise vs. Public Cloud: To round off our engaging discussion, we had a friendly "debate" about the future of infrastructure management—whether on-premise or in the public cloud. Far from a heated argument, it was an enlightening chat that explored differing viewpoints on a subject that continues to captivate many organizations. I look forward to returning to the podcast and discussing ever-changing cloud native and AI technology! #GeekingOut #CloudNative #Docker #Kubernetes #ConversationalAI #PublicCloud #OnPremiseInfrastructure
