We're incredibly proud to recognize Tyson Hoch and Patti Bisgard, dedicated volunteers who received the Governor's Volunteer Award for their outstanding service to Lucas County Health Center! 🏆✨ 👏 On June 20th, Patti and Tyson received this prestigious award from the Governor and Lieutenant Governor in honor of their steadfast dedication. Patti has generously given 10 years of service, while Tyson has devoted 5 years to serving our community. Unfortunately, Gloria Gardner and Fred Steinbach couldn't attend the ceremony, but their combined 25 years of service have left an indelible mark on our facility and community. 🌟 Join us in celebrating their achievement and thanking all our volunteers for their selfless contributions to making a difference in the lives of our patients and families!

Social and community participation is important because it can: Help you feel included and connected to others. Give you opportunities to build relationships with friends. Grow your social networks and help you feel more included. Everybody needs a champion and good role models who are non-judgemental. Volunteering in the. community helps Improve citizens' knowledge and skills in problems. This journey, is teaching me to be respectful, use active listening and good communication skills. Greater community knowledge allows me to see multiple sides of the problem and opportunities especially when working with women and young people. #domesticfamilyandsexualharassment, #diversityequityandinclusion #youthrisk Thanks OACWA Inc for recognising those who are making an impact in the community👏
