The recent article "Why Are More Women Clients Than Ever Firing Advisors?" by Tracey Longo, highlights a growing trend of dissatisfaction among women investors towards their financial advisors, leading to an increased rate of them switching advisors. Key issues causing women to fire their advisors include poor customer service, lack of personal connection, and poor performance, with the percentages of women citing these reasons showing significant increases from a 2019 benchmark study. Bridget Venus Grimes, CFP®, founder of WealthChoice LLC and co-founder of Equita Financial Network, underlines the necessity of earning trust through understanding and addressing the unique challenges women face, which can impact financial plans.
