Be a good leader and lead your team

The only difference between ordinary and extra ordinary is - EXTRA. That’s my boy Pavan Madde - Smart working brilliant mind. While we were working together, he was very happy and amazed to see that I kept felicitating the top performers. One day he asked me - How can I be an achiever ? I told him- By ensuring 2 things - Number 2 Believe that you are already an achiever. That will always push you to learn more so that you be at the top. Number 1 Everything that we avoid to do in sales considering it extra is exactly what takes you towards everything. He ensured he puts in those extra efforts and today, he is making others do the same which turned him into a strong leader. Be a leader for your team

Nobody achieves anything great by staying comfortable. When I took over my dad’s property business, Alico Property Consultants, I was thrown into the deep end. At 24 years old, I had to learn and adapt quickly. Taking on such a monumental task was daunting. Every day brought new challenges. But through the struggle, I found my resilience and capability. Years later, Alico is in the best position it’s ever been. The journey wasn’t easy, but it was incredibly rewarding. The struggles shaped me into a stronger leader. The two key lessons I learned: 1. Nothing remarkable happens inside your comfort zone. Staying comfortable means staying stagnant. Growth requires stepping into the unknown and embracing discomfort. 2. Outside is where the magic happens. It’s in those moments of uncertainty and challenge that we find our true strength and potential. Taking over Alico was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But it brought out the best in me. It taught me that greatness requires stepping out of comfort and into challenge. Follow Omar Pabani for more.
