New week, new office! 😎 As of today, we’ve officially moved into a brand new office space! We’ve called 10 Arthur Street our home since we first launched back in 2019, so saying goodbye was definitely bittersweet. But we’re all very excited to start a new chapter and make new memories. And luckily, we’re only just down the road in Borough, so we can still visit our favorite local pub! So, why the move? It’s all thanks to data. Using our own platform to monitor occupancy and energy levels, we realized we weren’t using all our space effectively as we could be, and there was a lot of demand for different types of space. So in true Metrikus style of practising what we preach, we decided to rightsize our office based on these insights. This move will save us a huge amount of money on office costs, and reduce our energy usage too! Of course, we'll continue using our software to track our usage and savings, and we'll keep you updated on the results. A massive thank you to everyone in our team who put in a massive shift to get this move across the line! It took a lot of late-night furniture building, floor pizzas, second-hand shopping, painting, plants + picture hanging, and blood/sweat/manual labor to make it happen.
