It involves protecting data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.   - Key Elements:    - Access Controls: Implementing mechanisms such as authentication and authorization to ensure that only authorized individuals can access sensitive information.    -Encryption: Using cryptographic techniques to transform data into a secure format that can only be deciphered by individuals with the appropriate decryption key. 2.
