Louisville, Kentucky was the place to be this week for state legislators, staff, and nonprofit advocates!
The 2024 National Conference of State Legislatures brought together state legislators from across the country in Derby City and provided the perfect opportunity for NCN to host the second annual National Nonprofit Caucus of State Legislators reception!
NCN and Kentucky Nonprofit Network came together with state legislators, staff, and nonprofit advocates to celebrate past legislative successes and discuss future public policy initiatives to support nonprofits and the communities they serve. Policymakers and nonprofits partnering together is how the work gets done for our communities!
A big thank you to National Nonprofit Caucus Chair Maryland Sen. Cheryl C. Kagan, Kentucky Nonprofit Caucus Co-Chairs Rep. Cherlynn Stevenson and Rep. Samara Heavrin, Pennsylvania Nonprofit Caucus Leader Rep. Abigail Salisbury, Kentucky Nonprofit Network’s Danielle Tharp Clore and Laela Kashan, and NCN’s Tiffany Carter and Donna Murray-Brown for making the reception a huge success.
