Planet Money Summer School returned yesterday for a new, eight-part season. This year, Summer School brings you ‘An Economic History of the World.’ This season Planet Money Summer School is heading out on a time-traveling vacation through the history of the world to see how the economic systems of today came to be. Each episode features great stories from history illustrating economic concepts and their origins and answers a fundamental question. We’ll travel to a tiny island in Micronesia to ask the question: what is money? We’ll take up arms at an English factory to rage against the industrial revolution. And we'll look back at a time in America when you could pay for your drink using one of 8,000 kinds of money. As in years past, the season culminates with a chance at earning your very own diploma. You just have to pass the quiz. Listen along to find out. The first episode is available now. New episodes drop every Wednesday until Labor Day. https://lnkd.in/eT9KP4V5

My favorite time of the year: includes Shark Week on Discovery and Planet Money Summer school. Can it get even better? 🎉😎

Confidence isn’t thinking you are better than anyone else, it’s realizing that you have no reason to compare yourself to anyone else.

I love these podcasts, the previous one which led up to getting a degree was great to listen to and helped me to get through my economics classes!
