🤓 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 --> 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗤𝗥 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀! 🔎 On average we see of those who participate in our online campaigns, ± 50% scan the QR code on the card in order to access the campaign. 💡 Recently we tested with Unique QR codes. Meaning: when using the QR code to check what you have won, the unique wincode of your card gets automatically pre-filled on the landing page. Scanning of such unique QR code created an 𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟰𝟲% 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 👉👉👉 𝟴𝟱%(!) of people who accessed the campaign website by scanning the unique QR of the card, proceeded to enter their email address and agree to the terms and conditions 𝘃𝘀. 𝟱𝟴% of people who entered their code manually. In hard numbers this means: of 1.000 customers that received a promo card and took the effort to visit the website by scanning the QR code --> 850 customers decided to participate instead of only 580 (when wincode is not pre-filled). 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝟮𝟳𝟬 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵! And also 270 more discounts that you can dispense, which most likely convert for 3%. 𝘽𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙤𝙢 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 --> 𝙥𝙚𝙧 1.000 𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙌𝙍 𝙘𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 8 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙨! When life gives you Lemonum make a Lemonadum..."Are you the kind of person that shows up to the airport 8 h early?" When Hayden Rozario asked me this question at watercooler last week, my only answer was "How did you know?". I thought I had all my ducks in a row for SaaStock Austin. I spent way too much time making sure everything goes smoothly- heck even printing things I didn't need to print out "just in case" like I'm my own grandma. But then a cancelled airport train followed by a "slight technical issue" with the plane followed by a 3.5 h delay showed me my place. What has this taught me about B2B sales? Lol, just kidding. I'm in B2B marketing 😉 Here's to all the marketers trying to prepare for SGE or devise the perfect GTM strategy or outbound game plan based on this or that book or expert advice - you can by all means plan, but I'd bet my Strawberrum with you it won't work as planned. Case in point: our recent SaaS Benchmarks Report (still in pre-order: link in the comments!) So make sure you don't go Bananum over plans you will most likely need to change...and well, wish me luck.
