I recruit for shipping and maritime technical roles for EMEA as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Helm Recruitment.
Shortage of technical shipping candidates in Germany? Engaged in a productive discussion today with a client on the scarcity of shore-based technical candidates in Germany. We identified a notable lack of candidates for roles like Technical and Marine Superintendents. Reflecting on my visit to Hamburg last year, clients emphasized a worrying trend of Maritime colleges experiencing low student applications. Many courses were left unfilled, with a few even being cancelled. Is this trend replicated in other international regions?

If you have a logistics, manufacturing or robotics company and you're thinking of the corridor and surrounding areas as a growth opportunity for your business, message me and I'd be happy to give you the footnotes! #Northwestbank #CommercialBanking #robotics
