📢 Nuada's Co-CEO, Dr. Conor Hamill, took part in the latest edition of the #UnreasonableImpact program! 🌍 Unreasonable Impact, in partnership with Barclays, focuses on helping develop growth-stage entrepreneurs to discover profit in solving global problems. These leaders will ensure the most valuable, influential, and lasting companies of tomorrow are those solving humanity's most pressing challenges today. 🚀 Nuada has been welcomed as one of 12 new ventures added to the Fellowship, a cohort which Dr. Conor Hamill and other inspired entrepreneurs, alongside influential #unreasonable mentors, and investors, convened to discuss many of the critical issues faced today. The knowledge gained and shared from this programme will be paramount to ensuring businesses like Nuada can help create a better and healthier world through #innovation, while creating thousands of jobs globally. 🤝 We would like to especially thank Daniel Epstein and the team at Unreasonable for accommodating us and developing such an impactful programme. 🌿 Plus, a special shoutout to the 11 other incredible ventures who we had the pleasure of sharing the experience with - Agricarbon, Better Dairy, Chatterbox, constellr, ENOUGH, Land Life, Mimbly, Qualis Flow (Qflow), Shellworks, Vertical Future and Winnow. #carboncapture #climatechange
As we conclude on the 12 ventures that recently joined our fellowship, we are excited to introduce the final trio of ventures. Meet the three incredible ventures that have recently joined our Fellowship, each dedicated to decarbonizing the supply chain. Agricarbon: led by co-founder and CEO Annie Leeson, specializes in sampling agricultural soil and natural landscapes to measure their carbon content for the purpose of verifying carbon removals. Land Life: led by CEO Rebekah Braswell, is dedicated to providing businesses with the opportunity to invest in long-term nature restoration projects. Nuada: led by co-CEO Conor Hamill, offers an ultra-energy-efficient point carbon capture system to help hard-to-abate industries reduce carbon emissions and reach global net-zero targets. "Reasonable ideas seldom change anything" 💡 That is why Agricarbon is challenging the belief that ground truth soil carbon measurements cannot be scalable and economical. High volumes of primary data are essential, but this is currently often overlooked for seemingly 'easier' solutions such as remote sensing and modelling. Nothing beats ground-truth data. If we want to ensure that what is said say truly happens, we need to measure it. We might sound Unreasonable, but it really IS possible! 🌱 #unreasonablecompany #carbonmarkets #carbonremovals #soilhealth #regenerativeagriculture

Our 2024 kicked off with full throttle during our annual EOS session with Sven Saerens. Over two days of intense work, we looked back on 2023, reflected on the successes and challenges, and charted out another year of actions to propel us towards our long-term goal. Our overarching objective is to become the one-stop partner for those undertaking challenging, land-based aquaculture projects done the right way! In these sessions, we set aside the technical jargon and focus on viewing our business from a higher perspective. For us, as engineers and scientists often immersed in day-to-day operations, this necessitates a complete shift in perspective. We delve into work life, our team dynamics, life itself, our sector, and even the world we inhabit. We confront the harsh realities and focus into what truly matters. We identify obstacles hindering Landing from becoming the business we envision. Then, we strategize—planning weekly, quarterly, and yearly actions that, when executed relentlessly, will guide us to our desired destination. For all our friends and colleagues aiming to elevate their businesses (or run them smoothly), feel free to reach out to Sven or explore the EOS content and literature. #EOS #successes #challenges #objective #perspective #realities #focus #strategize #destination
