If you are wondering what kind of impact your business can have for a not for profit organization, check this out. This is the third year in a row that this local business has turned over the proceeds of mulch sales for the day, totaling roughly $10,000. That kind of support is huge for Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington. The relationship started with a #CSGW presentation where owner Marty Young was in attendance. He learned how the program worked and how it could be an impactful tool for #CommunitySafety. As a business that has been impacted by crime, he felt this was an organization that he could support. Aligning your business with the #CrimeStoppers brand isn't just a smart move for community engagement, it can actually be a boost to your profile. Consider partnering with your local program.
Wow! Another awesome #MulchSale year in #MountForest . Thank you to Marty Young and his team at Young's Home Hardware who donated ALL proceeds from this year's sale. Here Marty, left, is joined by #CSGW Past Chair Deryck West. Outstanding support from this community partner! Shout out to our #Guelph partners, Andre Belisle and his team at JL's Home Hardware for raising $1,776 for our program during #MayMulchMonth.

#volunteering is more than just giving time; it's a powerful catalyst for positive transformation. At Youth Haven, we've witnessed firsthand how volunteers create a chain reaction of goodness that resonates far beyond their immediate actions. Take the heartwarming example of St. John Lutheran Church in Dickinson, North Dakota, whose recent visit to our campus as part of their 2023 Mission Trip left an indelible mark. While organizing back-to-school supplies for Youth Haven, they exemplified the essence of volunteering - selflessly dedicating their time to enhance the lives of others. This act of kindness, fueled by a shared commitment to the #community, not only ensures that kids are well-equipped for school but also ignites a spark of hope and inspiration within them. Volunteers are the backbone of change, bridging gaps, and fostering unity. Their collective efforts are like ripples in a pond, spreading positivity throughout society. So let's celebrate the volunteers, like those from St. John Lutheran Church, who are lighting up the path towards a brighter future. Their actions remind us that small acts of kindness can spark profound shifts, creating a world where compassion and impact go hand in hand. Join us in honoring the volunteers who are #creatingchange and inspiring us all to be a part of something bigger. #VolunteerImpact #CommunityEngagement #Inspiration
Members of St. John Lutheran Church in Dickinson, North Dakota, recently visited our campus to volunteer as part of their 2023 Mission Trip! Did you ever stop to think about doors? Well, they’re pretty necessary. How about the price of doors? We bet they cost more than you think. In fact, all the inside and outside doors in our new Habitat neighborhood of SIX homes will cost $20,000! These doors, though, will open the Doorway to Dreams for the six hardworking families who will buy these homes, so they are pretty special! That’s why we’re asking that you use the QR Code or link to DONATE to our Holiday Campaign. You’ll not only help build the homes but help affordable homeownership dreams come true. https://lnkd.in/eTMqzxn4 #DoorwayToDreams #HolidayCampaign #Donate #Donation #Doors #AffordableHomeownership #Habitat #HabitatSeminoleApopka #AffordableHomeownership #BuildingHomes #BuildingCommunity #BuildingHope #FutureHomebuyers

In Boston, and everywhere there are many buildings and offices vacant on any given day. This interesting conversation about donating the space either partially or totally to nonprofits in need of space is worth a listen. Often funders review overhead when deciding to invest in nonprofits, one of the biggest items other than staff is space. If you have vacant offices, consider partnering with a nonprofit, not only for the tax benefits, but for the social good.

Core values are a part of our organization. One of those values is giving back to the communities where we do business. The first annual APEC Indy golf outing raised over $15,455 with the generous support of all of the donors and sponsors for the event. Thank you to all that helped make the outing a successful day and contributed to this donation we recently provided Second Helpings of Indianapolis. #apecindy #secondhelpings #give
