I WONDER.... Having read Umberto Nobile's book "My Polar Flights" (and even corresponded with his widow Dr. Gertrude Nobile when she was still alive), it is VERY obvious that ice buildup on the airship was and will be a dangerous and even possibly deadly reality. This was despite them choosing - two times - what they considered to be the most favorable time of year, which was not February. Yet the airship or airships that might be available for 2026 have ZERO provision for removing (or possibly avoiding) ice buildup, or preventing it being thrown from propellers and possibly damaging the ship. Because they will need to be Type Certified to carry paying passengers, any de-icing system also needs to be certified. I wonder. We have the only airship design easily fitted with de-icing, and designed for icing conditions from the beginning, as well as being a semi-rigid which is the most efficient and safe configuration for such a proposal. https://lnkd.in/ev_9QCdQ
The world's first polar overflight was made by an airship in 1926. Marking 100 years since that achievement, we at OceanSky Cruises are getting ready to land on the North Pole with a luxury version. #sustainableaviation #luxurytravel #airships https://lnkd.in/ewvhXe_w

Darwinism and evolution for rope-ways Rope-ways came to us thanks to the Italians; So goes the fuzzy history 1800s saw a rope pulled by donkeys towing military stuff uphill Then came the people movers: Slow staid expensive plain-vanilla continuous mass-transport linear systems What could we do so that ... We get onboard from just anywhere (Not have to go to a ropeway-station) We move faster than ground traffic (Not suffer short slow rides) We move atop roads and lakes (Not forced along a straight line) We get nimble self-powered Cabs (Not ponderous dumb gondolas) We can descend to ground when we want (Not wait for the next station) We reach our doorstep in the same Cab (Not wait for a connector) AND We travel cocooned privately (Not herded into mass carriages)? It ought run cheaper faster further, even along narrow or twisty lanes! AirCab Darwinism as for evolution All loved flavors <Vs> Just plain-vanilla Credit: Images by Pawel Janiak and Josephina Kolpachnikof On unsplash . com #rope #ropeaccess #transportation

In the aviation world, an aircraft generally “shakes” for three (3) reasons: 1. Turbulence. Action required. Climb for smoother air. 2. The aircraft is about to “stall” due to excessive angle of attack (AOA). You are operating “outside” of the operating limitations of the aircraft (i.e., God’s Word). Action required: Reduce AOA w forward stick pressure. Consequence of inaction: Rapid loss of altitude. Imminent Danger/Death. 3. The aircraft is transitioning from subsonic flight to supersonic flight, aka “transonic flight.” Your “bumpy ride” is about to get “very smooth” and AMAZING because you are operating within the boundaries and limitations of the aircraft for supersonic flight. Why is God “shaking” America?
