This time last week, we celebrated 10 years since the launch of our beloved Sniper Elite III. The title played a huge part in progressing the Sniper Elite franchise and further catapulted Rebellion's signature slow-motion kill cam into the limelight. To celebrate, we raided the Rebellion archives for some never-before-seen visuals from 2014's launch: 🤝 Our Audiomotion Studios team posing with the legendary Charlie Brooker, who stars in Sniper Elite III as a German field officer in Hitler's entourage. 🎮 The first physical editions of Sniper Elite III arriving at the Rebellion office. 🏆 A group photo of the Sniper Elite III Dev team, who were celebrating officially 'going gold'. 💠 Some 'making of' shots of Karl's face before/after the addition of tessellation (which smooths silhouettes by adding fake geometry to them).
