I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! Mine was filled with great company and delicious food, and, as usual, conversations eventually turned to work and the ever-evolving world of AI. This got me thinking about us here at HTD Talent, specifically about how we're embracing AI and where we still see limitations with it in our business model. I thought this might make for an interesting LinkedIn share, so here we go. We constantly strive to stay a step ahead of our Fortune 500 clients in developing training content and curricula. With AI, this is more true than ever. For the past year, we've been weaving AI training into our Software Engineering, Data, and Cloud curricula, aiming to be ready before these big companies even think about incorporating these new technologies into their environment. We’re also leveraging AI in practical ways, like sorting through mountains of candidate applications. Take our latest training session in November, for example. We had to find 15 candidates out of more than 3,500 applications. And next year? We're looking at training over 500 associates. It’s become very clear we can’t do this manually. But, and it's a big but, we don't let AI make the call on who gets hired. AI is smart, but it can't spot that special "It-Factor" – the mix of soft skills, ambition, and perseverance that turns a good candidate into an outstanding one. We rely on AI to trim down the candidate pool based on basic qualifications, but our "human team" steps in for the crucial part. Our recruiters and tech experts talk to these candidates, evaluating their technical skills, how they communicate, their leadership potential, and how well they adapt – all to ensure we’re bringing on board the very best for our clients. As AI continues to evolve, we’ll keep reassessing how we use it in our ever-changing business landscape. #AI #hiretraindeploy #techtalent
