🎉 Today marks a truly special milestone: I'm celebrating my first-year anniversary at Mumble! 🎉 I don't usually share personal reflections like this, but today feels different: My journey with Mumble began as a significant turning point after a year filled with challenges and uncertainties. At 29, I found myself navigating through various obstacles, with work being one of the most prominent. Over the past year, I've gained profound insights, particularly by observing the distinct values upheld by Mumble's three founders. Despite their youth, they've displayed a wisdom and holistic vision that deeply resonated with me. Here are some key lessons I've gleaned from them, which I believe hold relevance and inspiration for many: ⭐ Being a WOMAN, and a MOTHER (especially a single mother), should never be an obstacle to one's career: support from the employer can make all the difference in ensuring both professional and personal success. ⭐ Valuing employees goes beyond mere compliance with regulations; it's about genuinely appreciating each individual's daily contributions, fostering a positive and empowering work environment. ⭐ Acknowledging the dedication and sacrifices made by employees who invest their time and efforts to propel the company forward, even though it may not be their own venture. ⭐ Genuine recognition and gratitude for employees' commitment and sacrifices are essential for fostering a culture of appreciation and loyalty. ⭐ Embracing collaboration and empathy within the workplace fosters a culture of success, far more impactful than promoting competition and individualism. ⭐ Each of us has unexpected potential for growth, and an environment like Mumble provides ongoing opportunities for development. ⭐ Remembering that employees are not just resources but individuals with lives beyond the office, where their holistic well-being should be prioritized and respected. ⭐ Every company should mirror Mumble's commitment to ensuring that sexism and disparities are eradicated from the workplace ⭐ Understanding that one's worth isn't determined by external factors like appearance, wealth, or being outgoing and well-dressed, but rather by the intrinsic value and contributions they bring to the table. (A truth that, despite being in 2024, isn't universally acknowledged). ⭐ Prioritizing the well-being of employees serves as the cornerstone for cultivating motivation and productivity in the workplace. I'll end up saying that I'm sooooooo grateful for the chance to be part of the Mumble team, and I look forward to our ongoing journey of growth and learning together. 🚀

Next week will be my one year anniversary with Savino Del Bene! As I reflect on my journey here, I can't help but feel grateful for the incredible growth, lessons and people this experience has brought into my life. Taking a risk and stepping outside of my comfort zone was scary. Leaving comfort of a giant forwarder and a network I have build over 7 years was daunting...but worth it. Change is uncomfortable, but it is inevitable no matter if you stay or go. What I've come to realize is that the grass is not greener on the other side, and that is ok! Sometimes the grass is the color of an espresso and it's beautiful. 😂 And unless you mow it, water it, and tend to it with dedication and hard work it will not grow no matter what color it is. Listening to my gut instinct proved to be more valuable than any naysayers' opinions about my decision. It's a reminder that our inner compass often knows the path we should follow. Working in a smaller company has been a transformative experience. Wearing multiple hats simultaneously can be uncomfortable, but it's in those moments of discomfort that we truly stretch and grow. I am fortunate to have had Karen Rondino as a role model in this industry for this past year. Her leadership and example as a woman in a traditionally male-dominated field have been an invaluable gift. She a force to be reckoned with! Ultimately, I've learned that finding happiness and living by our values is our responsibility, not anyone else's. 3 Years ago, just after Covid hit, I decided it was time to take a risk and leave a full-time job to set-up something of my own. Many during that time questioned my decision, however I was sure of one thing, its now or never. 3 Years after, I am delighted to say, it was one of the best decisions ever for many reasons. Most importantly, I get to choose where and how I want to work, I simply take the laptop and travel anywhere around the world thanks to Covid, doing meetings and working remotely is now common in the Middle East. My time has been spread out during the day, which allows me to have more personal time while enjoying what I am most passionate about....YALLA Consulting! The key lessons I have learned all through out is: 1) Follow your Passion, Life is too short to wait and overthink 2) Continue to Learn, learning is endless 3) Failure is a Must - I have changed the business model multiple times in the last 3 years, and failed many times! 4) Believe in Yourself! 5) Like the Nike Slogan - Just do it! 6) Take Risks 7) Step outside your comfort-zone 8) Take care of Yourself - Growth and work is great, but mental health is essential for all of that to happen! 9) Network and build partnerships! 10) Results take time . . . #motivation #motivationalquotes #inspiration #positivemindset #Agency #enterpreneur
