The Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT) and the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) are assessing a feasibility study for a proposed airport in Agrigento, Sicily. However, the President of the Sicilian Region has expressed concerns about the financial sustainability of operating the airport once constructed, emphasizing the need for a solid financial management plan. 📰 More details on this story in the next issue of the Momberger Airport Information newsletter. ➡️ Sign up for a free two-month trial here: https://lnkd.in/g8SjE2pp Please type "trial" in the user instructions window. #momberger #airports #airportdevelopment #airportoperations #infrastructure #airtransport #construction #aviationindustry #Italy Image credit: Giovanni Bologna

Why NorthEast Corridor (#NEC) in the #US couldn't be developed as competitive #corridor with the arrival of new players in the long distance services? It will be quite complex in terms of capacity management, but the US consumer could have benefits to have a system like Italy in the #HSR.
