#100daysofcode #100daysofcodechallenge #100daysofcodingchallenge Day 47: I had trouble completing the guide and I decided to stop and remove all the code and files as it might not fix the issue because MacOs execute .app files that are not from the app store or a signed disk image at random directories I found a library named cpplocate which can be used to locate files. I will read more about the library and if it fits the project, then I will add it. Games use various assets and locating them is very important. #cpp #sdl #cmake #gamedevelopment

🤖 For Android developer thinking about trying flutter with Android Studio 🌟 ✴ Launch Android Studio, go to plugins - Install Flutter and Dart Plugins ✴ Install Dart SDK from https://dart.dev/get-dart - If you are on Mac just run following commands (Install Homebrew) - brew tap dart-lang/dart - brew install dart - After running these commands, you will be provided with SDK location and command to add dart PATH ✴ Install Flutter SDK from https://lnkd.in/g_cMpMEJ - If you are on Mac, Choose Mac as current Device - Then Choose Android as your first app - If you are using Apple Silicon, Install and Accept terms of Rosetta - sudo softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license - Go to the `Install the Flutter SDK` section and Download the SDK - create a folder at ~/development - Unzip the SDK from downloads to development folder - unzip ~/Downloads/https://lnkd.in/g9qKx3Nh \ -d ~/development/ - Add flutter path to ~/.zshenv (read the doc) ✴ Add locations into the Android Studio - Android Studio -> Settings -> Languages & Frameworks - Dart -> Dart SDK Path: (Copy and Paste the path from the terminal) - Flutter -> Flutter SDK Path: (Copy and Paste the path from the terminal) Assuming you already have the required tools setup for running android app, It should work just fine. I've tried the VS Code as well, but personally I feel Android Studio is much better IDE for writing code (Maybe I'm a noob VS Coder). I thought of sharing this with follow devs. Let me know if your thoughts in the comments. #android #flutter #developer
