Institutionalizing inclusion through organizational development, inclusive TQM process, accessibility and diversity
Merry Christmas! 🎄 More than the material gifts we received this season, 🎁 let us appreciate more the opportunities we got this year, and celebrate how we successfully accomplished them. Let us also be reminded of the Organizations, leaders, and peers who appreciate, and valued our contributions in the achievement of project goals this year. Nothing is greater and better than the holiday parties you threw for the team, 🎉 🥳 than maintaining good team collaboration and supportive environment for everyone to thrive and try their best in delivering superb outputs. ✨✨ I am praying not just for my personal petitions, join me in the Christmas novena for St. Jude Thaddeus, 🙏 🙏 🙏 to also pray for those who lost their jobs, seeking for employment, for those who feel neglected at work, those who did not end well with their employers, for people with disabilities who continuously look for opportunities, for employees who never appreciated by their leaders, for those with pending labor and discrimination cases, for those freelancers with worries in their hearts about the possible projects that will come their way before the current one ends, for those children who were illegally engaged to work, for those who strongly hold to informal labor, for those desiring to advance their careers, for women who experience abuse and pay gaps, for my fellow HR and organizational development professionals who help organizations to grow and be saved, for those businesses who are still struggling to recover, for the success of start ups who try to build themselves, and most especially for labor advocates and CSOs who rally for fair labor for everyone. https://lnkd.in/gUi5yeFw

Thanksgiving much-needed post! Step into the Spotlight of Your Light 🌟 Many are anticipating right now family reunions and gatherings. These occasions can sometimes trigger our fight-or-flight nervous system responses. ✨ Embrace the wisdom of the nervous system ladder in understanding your reactions. Consider where you might land on the nervous system ladder. The clarity we find allows us to navigate these situations. Think of it like tuning a #radiostation; you have the right to change the frequency of what you are attuning yourself to. This truth applies to your interactions with family and friends as well. There's no need to convince anyone, and there's no need to engage in an endless debate of polarization of who is right and wrong, who is higher, who is lower. This #Thanksgiving, let's choose awareness and learn strategies to regulate and move toward a state of safety and social connection 🙏✨ #ThanksgivingReflection #NervousSystemBalance #RaiseYourFrequency #SelfAwareness #Compassion #ChooseWisely #polyvagaltheory Elodie Attias Aurélie Brisac Stylianos Antalis Scott N. 🧠 Thanksgiving ... Did you know ?💡 The West African nation of Liberia founded 200 years ago in the 19th century, by people of colour from the United States. 🇱🇷 These 'Americo-Liberian' settlers brought cultural traditions across the Atlantic Ocean with them, including the celebration of Thanksgiving. 🎉 After Liberia formally declared independence in 1847 - becoming one of the first democratic republics on the African continent, various influences between the two countries prevailed. Liberia became the only African country to officially celebrate Thanksgiving, to mark when freed American slaves founded the country in 1822. 🌍 Thanksgiving in Liberia is celebrated on the first Thursday of November. Festivities and celebrations include attending Baptist churches and other places of worship, where fresh fruits of the harvest area auctioned following the service. After church gatherings Liberians commemorating Thanksgiving, go home to feast, gather for special concerts and dancing. 🗓 Instead of turkey and mashed potatoes, Liberians celebratory Thanksgiving dishes including mashed cassava, chicken, jollof rice and other typical food from West Africa. 🍽 #Liberia #thanksgiving #Africa
