Over and over we’ve heard the same stories: people feel overwhelmed by their inboxes, miss key emails, or struggle to break through the clutter. Email users are craving better ways to streamline the daily activities that often bog us down – like sorting out their schedules, reading through long messages, and tracking orders. With our latest updates for Yahoo Mail, we’re utilizing AI to make the inbox experience easier and more intuitive. We’re aiming to simplify the mail experience, rather than just adding more tools to navigate – saving people time and making email easier to navigate on a daily basis. As a father of two kids under age 12, I know just how hard it can be to stay on top of countless school emails and sports practice reminders. With our new features, you can now open up your email to find the most important messages organized into a tab for you, with a summary of each email’s content and suggested actions needed before you open it. What may have taken 10 minutes to read and schedule (like soccer practice or picture day reminders) can take just a minute! Huge shoutout to the team for all their hard work and amazing team work on this project. Research has always given me valuable insights but this headline in my feed caught my eye for the wrong reason. While Daily Mail is not a great place to find great research, they do quote experts from Virtual Society project. This one is a obvious doozy. " Future of online shopping is limited." Still some points are not off the mark after 2 decades! My subtext following quotes 1. "email, far from replacing other forms of communications is adding to overload of information" - This was among the top complaints in a future of work survey conducted just a couple of years back with Slack and Teams joining email as culprits. 2. "'Teenagers' use of the Internet has declined as they realized there is more to life in the real world". Teenagers must have been smart then and probably still saying the same to their teenage kids. Wonder if the researchers had thought of the future state - "always on" internet available on your mobile for about the same cost. The bubble burst in 2000 may have been one reason for this onset of "trough of disillusion" but most researchers certainly did not see the advancement in technology and the applications it supported.

But don't worry—customers can still find and contact you using Google Search and Maps through your business profile, website, and other sources! You will still be able to receive calls from your business profile and track other engagement metrics for your business, including web traffic, direction requests, and keyword search terms. Here's the details: 👉🏽 Google will stop creating new chats after July 15th. 👉🏽 Chat and Call History will completely stop working on July 31st. 👉🏽 Customers with existing chats should have already been notified by Google about this change. What to do: 👉🏽 Download your chat history before July 31st to keep a record of conversations (using Google Takeout). 👉🏽 Give your customers an option for a new preferred way to chat. FAKE Personalization. Yeah, fake. This is something you can go add to your campaigns right now, within 2 minutes. That will do nothing but boost your positive reply rates. Platforms like Smartlead and Instantly have what I refer to as “Dynamic variables” built into their systems. This allows you to put variables that dynamically change depending on (Time of week), (Time of day), (variable conditions), etc. Allowing you to do things like: “Hello John” → Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening John! ”Hey John” → Happy hump day/Monday/Tuesday/etc. John! “Hey John” → How is your week this far John?/How has the week been John? ”Lets have a meeting” → Lets have a meeting early next week!/Lets have a meeting later this week! ”Talk soon” → Have a nice weekend!/Have a good rest of your week! This is something I include in pretty much every single email in some way or form. Here are what the 2 platforms have built in so you can get creative. BOTH -Your account variables. (Allows us to do things like “sending_account_Name”, or “sender_account_email” and refer to the emails we use to send with) -Time based greeting (Good Morning,Afternoon,Evening) -Day of the week greeting (Happy Monday,Tuesday,etc.) Instantly -Week split variables (Custom text you put will change depending on if its between Monday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Friday. With this you can ask for things like “Free for a meeting later this week” if its between M-W and “Free for a meeting early next week” if its between W-F, in the week. -Conditional content based on Lead-List attributes (Meaning you can do things like “If leads position(variable) = Founder, then output “I know its hard to be a founder”, and if its something else you can output that instead) -Greeting based on day of week (B), (allows you to do thing like if today is “Monday” you output “Friday”) -Inserting Yesterday’s date -Display current month (Here’s their doc on it - https://lnkd.in/djARiBzz) Smartlead -Current day + X (You can add your own Years,Months,Weeks,Days,Hours,Minutes,Seconds to the variable as you’d like.) Allowing you to do things like “Let’s chat within (Today+3 days) and it will keep moving those 3 days as real time moves on -Current day - X, same as above, but instead of adding you can subtract days from the current date/time -Sender Domain -Adding Names to pictures/gifs with code editor. (needs to have 3rd party, but they have an article on this I will put blow.) Essentially it allows you to make a meme, or a video for everyone and change it so the lead’s name it written on the video. e.g. a whiteboard in the background, or a meme.
