#hiring Vice President, Creative Director, Accord, United States, fulltime #jobs #jobseekers #careers #Accordjobs #NewYorkjobs #AdvertMediaEntertainment Apply: https://lnkd.in/geMS5-J5 Assembly Media Inc. is a subsidiary of Daniel J. Edelman Holdings, Inc. Built to thrive amid the full complexity of today's modern marketing, Edelman is the world's largest independent communications agency. We help some of the world's most famous companies evolve, promote, and protect their brands. At Assembly, we help Microsoft bring to life its mission: to help every person on the planet achieve more. We are experts in the products and offerings and tasked with helping them think beyond the product roadmap to find the best way to bring their unique stories to broad audiences. Our work is designed to capture the attention of the American media landscape, and the ability to uncover a cultural tension is at the heart of our briefs. Our growing creative teams are the masterminds behind some of the world's most talked about work. Whether we're teaming up with RZA to replace an outdated and racist ice cream jingle, fighting for intersectional environmental justice with TAZO Tea, or creating a hotel for the world's most devoted Taco Bell fans, the work we create is designed to capture attention and get people talking. It's not enough to be culturally relevant-our briefs demand that we change culture around us. Now we need a strong Creative Director who can help unlock more of those weird, wild ideas. What kind of creative work will you do? We're glad you asked. Because our work doesn't really fit inside any kind of standard PR/Advertising/Communications/Marketing box, there's no "standard" creative brief here. We're the kind of creative department that works on scripts for a heartfelt brand anthem in the morning, switches over around lunchtime to concepting for a brand stunt that'll hijack culture, and end our day by workshopping funny tweets. And that's just a Monday. So, if you're looking to come up with ideas that go beyond the 30-second spot - the kind of ideas that end up in the pages of the New York Times and on the One Show shortlist - you'll be in good company here. To land this gig, you need to have a passion for people and helping others solve problems. Our culture is what sets us apart from traditional ad agencies, and it's why so many stay with us awhile. At Edelman, our most valuable resource is you - our people - with a diversity of backgrounds, ideas, and smarts

Jobseeking can be an emotionally challenging time, with the constant stream of rejections and unanswered applications taking a toll on one's spirit. It's disheartening to see individuals taking advantage of this vulnerability by using click-bait tactics to gain attention or followers. This behavior is not only hurtful but also demoralizing to those who are already struggling in their job search. If you're not genuinely committed to assisting job seekers, I implore you to reconsider your approach and refrain from offering false hope or empty promises. Consider the emotional impact of your actions and the effect they have on those who are earnestly seeking employment. Let's foster a supportive environment where individuals feel respected and valued, rather than exploited for the sake of personal gain. #jobseeking #jobadvertising

Brand Maker - I specialize in Branding & Consumer-Centric Solutions through Design Thinking & Research, focusing on Brand Recognition, Retention & Sales. Guest Lecturer at the University of FL - Branding for Musicians.
THE CLIENT IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. "Oh, there she goes again... it seems she loves being controversial." I actually do. 😁 But allow me to explain: Jellybean, where I serve as a Creative Director, is hiring new Account Executives. As we're gonna work cross-functionally, it was my mission to explain to our candidates HOW sales and creative will collaborate. In a nutshell, I told them that New Business AEs meet with our prospective clients and understand "what they want." After that, the AE meets with me, and together we'll translate what the client wants into WHAT THE CLIENT NEEDS. And THAT is the crux of the matter. There has been a disconnect in the market, where professionals seem to have forgotten that building a relationship of trust is the key to excellent work. As a Creative Director at a boutique advertising agency, it is part of my job to assure our clients that we are experts at turning their vision and goals into an actionable strategic plan and solutions that will generate results. And THAT is what they need (so that they get what they want.) And let me tell you: Our clients get it. Because they trust us. We work incessantly to build an environment where our clients feel heard, valued, and cared for. But we will NEVER compromise our ethics to do something we know won't be effective. After all, it is our job to ensure that our client's ROI is healthy so that it justifies hiring our services and investing in marketing initiatives. We never lie to our clients to get a deal. It's unethical and will erode the relationship before it starts. We also do not compromise our prices to get a deal because if we want to hire top talent at the agency to produce exceptional results, we need to value the work they do. I will always listen to my clients. I will always treat them with utmost respect and consider every ounce of their feedback. But our clients know that when they hire Jellybean, they welcome a team that will commit to their brands to the teeth and always be transparent. Even if it means telling them they are not always right. A respectful shout-out to our clients and a huge thank you, for allowing us to become part of your team and foster the growth of your brand.
