Comparison of IFRS S2 with TCFD Recommendations IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures: A standard issued by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) that sets out requirements for companies to disclose information about their climate-related risks and opportunities1. Consistency with TCFD Recommendations: The standard integrates and is consistent with the four core recommendations and 11 recommended disclosures published by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), with some differences in wording, detail and guidance. Four Disclosure Topics: The standard covers four disclosure topics: governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics and targets. Dealing with sustainability risks beyond the buzzword - today we had a good cross-border collaboration on this between PwC Deutschland and colleagues from PwC Italy! In a Europe-wide study, we looked at how the #ActuarialFunction deals with sustainability matters and risks in its opinion on underwriting. Today the results for Europe and broken down for Germany were presented in a joint webcast!
