Together, Carbon Black and DeepSeas have turned into a Managed XDR powerhouse. Rapid deployment is no longer an obstacle, nor are exorbitant costs. And most importantly clients are more secure than ever, with a faster end-to-end process of detection, investigation, and response. Dive Deeper: https://lnkd.in/gjTWFvYc

Recently I have written several articles about idempotent, pessimistic locking and optimistic locking and distributed locking, actually I have never implemented these concepts to a real project but in simple theory and practice I quite understand them. Romain Gantois (Bootlin) on vendor-agnostic board flashing & recovery "Recovering bricked boards is a regular task for many embedded software engineers. Various tools exist to alleviate this annoyance by offering a quick recovery solution via USB. However, these tools are vendor-specific and quite different from one another. Snagboot is a Bootlin project that provides a vendor-agnostic recovery and reflashing tool, allowing engineers to recover many different kinds of boards with the same workflow. This talk will present the capabilities of Snagboot, and explain how it leverages the wide support range of U-Boot to recover six different SoC families." Green Means Go! When using the Fluke Networks OptiFiber Pro OTDR it is important to set things up properly. The first step in fiber certification is making an accurate measurement. If the OTDR Port Connection Quality is anything but green, STOP!!! The measurements made with a dirty or damaged port are useless and will need to be rerun. Here is a short video I put together on setting up a multi-mode test. https://lnkd.in/gr6a3FRQ
