Mid-week dose🌟 Understand that, opportunity makes more sense to those who are prepared for it. So, never neglect those experiences of life that sometimes appear negative. Make lemonade out of it and be intentional about the grooming process. To every failure, there is always a purpose. Check out if it's as a result of wrong decisions taken or a signal that God wants you to change direction. It's a fulfilling and blessed day already. Amen. What next opportunity are you looking out for and how prepared are you for it? #contentcreator #purposefulliving #growthmindset #preparedness #passionateeducator #happymidweek #WASH 📷: Adesina Deborah: CEO of Gomervis Royal Apparel.

Helping over 100,000 children learn self-regulation, manage their emotions, and cope with anxiety by 2027
Have you tried a ‘Yes Day’ with your kids? It’s a special day where we say ‘yes’ to our children’s requests, as long as they’re safe and reasonable. This unique concept is more than just a day of fun; it’s a powerful tool for empowerment and building deeper connections. On ‘Yes Day’, kids get to make decisions, guiding the day’s activities. This teaches them valuable lessons about choice and consequence in a loving, supportive environment. It’s not about spoiling them, but empowering them to explore their independence. For us as parents, ‘Yes Day’ is a golden opportunity to step into our kids’ shoes. We get to experience their world, understand their likes, dislikes, and how they think. This not only brings loads of fun but also strengthens our bond in beautiful, unexpected ways. This special day is also great for building trust and open communication. When children feel their voices are heard and respected, it fosters a deeper sense of security and belonging. It’s a day where they learn their opinions are valued, boosting their self-esteem. Above all, ‘Yes Day’ reminds us that at the core of parenting is the connection with our children. It’s a heartfelt way to show our kids that they are important, their choices matter, and that they are a crucial part of the family. So, why not plan a ‘Yes Day’ and see the joy and growth it brings to your family?

Parle-G, Kismi, Melody, Poppins – Iconic #childhood favorites. But did you know all these treats, and many more, come from the same house? For years, Parle's magic has been woven into our daily lives, yet the brand itself remained a bit of a mystery. That's where seven years ago #Parle started a popular ‘Naam Toh Suna Hi Hoga’ campaign (link in the comments) and found a light and hopefully memorable way of driving the brand name home. The goal was to remind #consumers just how many of their favorite snacks come from Parle and how these treats have become a familiar part of their lives. Now, they're taking it a step further. Conceptualized by Fundamental and directed by Sukriti Tyagi of Kluture Studios, the latest 5 commercials emphasize Parle Products’ core values - #trust, #love, #innovation, #taste, and even a #globalpresence. As Mayank Pravinchandra Shah, VP Marketing, Parle Products Pvt. Ltd says, the latest released corporate campaigns positions ‘Parle’ as a ‘Branded House’ from a ‘House of Brands’. It’s amusing to see the brands efforts of landing the point sharply and memorably through quirky storytelling. So next time we reach for a snack, we know the master brand behind it all. #Parle: quietly satisfying our cravings for generations. #NaamTohSunaHiHoga #HouseOfBrands #parle #advertising #FMCG

Navigating The Fustercluck #92 KISS #RemixTheWorld Simple briefs lead to simple ideas. Simply powerful ideas. That inspire people. Move people. To feel. To act. One of my favorite briefs came from one of the nicest people in advertising, the founder of the Omnicom Collective shop, Dieste, Tony Dieste. After asking me to address the team at the annual wrap-up meeting, I ask Tony what the brief was. After a pregnant pause he said: "Make them laugh. Make them cry. And as they're walking out the door, make them buzz with pride that they work here." Simple. Direct. Clear in destination. Unfettered in how to get there. And with a poetic sensibility. Happy to say, I paid off that brief. One that reminds me of one of the great briefs ever: the Coca-Cola bottle design brief. Again, simple, direct and poetic. Give your team simple direction like this and you will be simply amazed by the results.

Do anyone else’s kids not enjoy Cross Country? My daughter doesn't enjoy it, and every year we have pep talks all week leading up to it. We just tell her to have fun, that she can skip and walk all the way, and that it's not about winning but just about participating. We could take the other option as well and just say, 'Don’t worry about it, you can stay home, or we could write you a slip to sit it out.' In my opinion, if I did that, the message I would be giving her is that it’s okay to run away and not show up just because you find it hard. That is not the message I want to instill in her. Life is going to get hard at some point, and there are always going to be hard things to do that you don’t want to do. Then, you either have to show up and push through the hard until it gets easier, or just sit in the hard forever. I know I would rather push through the hard to make it eventually easier rather than just sit in the hard. Just so you know, my daughter is more of a dancer than a runner, and I am totally OK with that. So, this year, I adopted a slightly different strategy. Yes, there were still all the pep talks leading up to it, and the day before the cross country, I went to the dollar store and bought her a yellow tutu, a yellow lei, some yellow hair spray, and yellow face paint (can you guess her house color?). On the eve of the cross country, I showed it all to her. She absolutely loves dressing up, and you know what this did? It got her excited about the cross country and made it more fun for her on the day. She was way more dressed up than the rest of her peers, and who cares? It got her excited about getting up in the morning and showing up for the day with a great mindset. She went into school happy to show off her cross-country attire. The reason I share this with you is because there are ways to still do the hard things, the things you don’t like, by incorporating the things you do like into them and making them more fun. It’s all about a slight shift in focus and perspective. So, I urge you to think about how you can make the hard, boring, mundane tasks in your day, week, life more fun and more enjoyable by adding the things you like. Where do you need to have a slight shift in focus? ✨ I would love to hear from you in the comments below. 👉 And if you’re looking for a mindset coach to help you work through your hard times, DM me, and I will gladly jump in to help you out. #MindsetMatters #ChallengeAccepted #FindYourFun #PositiveParenting #CreativeSolutions #JustDoIt #KidsActivities #ParentingTips #EmbraceChallenges
