OCG Delivers the Philippines' First Subterranean Railway Network Using Digital Engineering.
Oriental Consultants Global (OCG) used digital engineering to save USD 7.5 million on the Metro Manila Subway Project, the Philippines' first underground railway network.
OCG established a connected digital engineering system using Bentley's ProjectWise, ComplyPro, and SYNCHRO to streamline coordination, manage risk, and monitor cost. This system enabled real-time data sharing, clash detection, and construction simulation, which helped OCG eliminate rework, shorten the project schedule, and reduce material wastage.
OCG also plans to develop a digital twin of the railway for future asset and operations management.
Key Benefits:
📌 Real-time data sharing for improved collaboration
📌 Clash detection to eliminate rework
📌 Construction simulation to optimize planning
📌 Reduced material wastage
📌 Digital twin for future asset and operations management
