I loved chatting with Leighton Walker and Eddie Bullock on the Golf Club Talk UK podcast a couple of weeks ago. In this 2 minute segment I explain how the early days of ORBIS GOLF were framed around the problem of proving the value that PGA Professionals were delivering through a golf business. I'm happy to say that the fundamentals of Orbis remain exactly the same today. We join the dots between stakeholders and measure the impact on a golf business. #pgaprofessional #golfbusiness #golfmanagement #golfcoaching

A common mistake many golfers make is buying a set off the rack from a retail store, then adjusting their swing to match the clubs. This approach often leads to a flawed swing and unnecessary frustration on the course. Instead, guest JP from PXG recommended that golfers seek a custom club fitting. This ensures that the club is built to match your swing, not the other way around. Clubs should work for you, you shouldn't have to work for the clubs. This simple shift in perspective could make a world of difference in your game, and ultimately, your enjoyment of it. Repost this if it helped you understand the importance of a custom fit golf club for your swing. Golf bucket list is more than just a list of courses to play or countries to visit. In the world of golf, it's about the experiences, the personal introspection, and the doors it opens for you. When you think of creating your golf bucket list, consider focusing not on the courses themselves but on the unique experiences they offer. Remember, no matter how eloquent a writer might be, it's nearly impossible to accurately describe a golf hole. Jeff Thoreson points out that it's the experience of playing that hole, the memories you make, and the stories you'll tell that matter the most. In the end, your golf bucket list is a reflection of your personal journey in the sport, a collection of unique experiences and unforgettable moments. The average golfer needs these three crucial skills to improve, according to Todd Kolb. The first one is strategic aim. It's all about picking a target that amplifies your chances of landing a shot on the green, even if it's just an average one. The second crucial skill is lag-putting. Good lag-putting ensures that they can capitalize on these opportunities and lower their scores. Lastly, the guest emphasized the importance of chipping. Becoming proficient at chipping, getting the ball closer to the hole, and improving the 'up and down' can result in significant stroke savings. These are the areas where a golfer can start improving their game immediately, resulting in a more rewarding golfing experience. Repost this if improving your golf game with strategic aim, lag-putting, and chipping skills benefited you.
