Before I published this post, I sent it in our social chat for review. My boss's feedback was this: "Not sure about this one. Feels a bit odd. Maybe because no one's in gym kit." So I pushed back. It's a good reference! Funny! Will perform well on social! Turns out he's never seen Forrest Gump which would make the below photo a very odd choice indeed. Kinda just looks like a shitty Google image of a man running in a trench coat. It's still a good post, for those in a know. It's also a good reminder that taking a pop culture-oriented approach to social media content won't land for everyone. Not everyone has consumed the same content as you; not everyone exists in the same echo chamber as you. People belong to different online micro-communities and it's okay not to know everything. That's what teams are for: collaborating with people who engage with different types of content and being able to gain insights you might not otherwise have had access to.

As we approach the end of 2023, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey of the past six months. 📆 I consider myself fortunate to have connected with Mie Dries and Marck Feller, who provided me with the opportunity to step into the role of Managing Director at LEVEL V and We Are Live. 🌟 Some standout projects include our involvement with Solana, one of the world's leading cryptocurrencies, and their annual Breakpoint celebration in Zaandam. This event aims to promote the Solana blockchain platform and is a must-attend for developers, entrepreneurs, and blockchain enthusiasts looking to build or integrate Solana-based solutions. 💻 Combining our services as a production company (LEVEL V) and a digital/hybrid broadcast company (We Are Live), we could assist Solana with a comprehensive suite of video production and live broadcasting services, including scripting, concepting, speaker management, multi-stage and channel live streaming, and daily highlight reel production. 🎥 On November 8th, we proudly live-streamed Adyen Investor Day, a highly anticipated event with 200 exclusive in-person attendees and over 4000 online viewers for the latest financial update. The hybrid event in San Francisco featured presentations, leadership updates, and interactive Q&A, showcasing the strength of this format. Our on-location presence ensured a high quality experience, contributing to the success of this collaboration and solidifying our eight-year partnership  for all hybrid & digital events, including Sales, Tech, Ops, Marketing andInternal Comms. 🚀 This summer we had a meaningful involvement in the ING Pride campaign, featuring a long-form video format that opened up inspiring conversations between colleagues from different backgrounds on what it’s like to be themselves and the challenges that brings. These videos fostered a valuable dialogue on diversity and inclusion. Building on the success of this Pride series, a follow-up series was created focusing on other aspects of diversity within ING.
