Commodities hedge funds saw 17 months of consecutive net asset inflows through September 2023, with only one year of negative performance in the last decade. With Intelligence’s analysis of the sector shows that commodities funds have demonstrated significant downside protection and positive uncorrelated returns during recent equity sell-offs and periods of substantial macroeconomic and geopolitical upheaval.
