🌟 **Shining the Spotlight on Our Stellar Team!**
Hey Team Corefield! 👋
In the heartbeat of our success lies an invaluable asset - our incredible team. Today, let's dive into the magic behind the scenes: the process of recognizing and rewarding our exceptional employees.
**Step 1: The Heartfelt Nomination 💖**
Recognition starts with YOU! Whether it's a colleague going above and beyond, a team player always ready to lend a hand, or someone whose dedication lights up the office - it begins with a nomination straight from the heart.
**Step 2: The Recognition Roundtable 🤝**
Our Recognition Roundtable, a group of cross-departmental rockstars, gathers to review nominations. It's not just about the big wins; it's about the small, consistent efforts that make Corefield a better place every day.
**Step 3: The Surprise Element 🎉**
The best part? We love surprises! Once a month, we celebrate our chosen heroes. Picture this: the unsuspecting awardee, a round of applause, and maybe a few happy tears. It's the moment that makes all the hard work worth it.
**Step 4: Tailored Rewards 🏆**
One size doesn't fit all. That's why we believe in personalized rewards. Whether it's a day off, a gift card to their favorite spot, or an opportunity for professional growth, each reward is as unique as the individual receiving it.
**Step 5: Celebration Across Channels 🎊**
Why keep the joy to ourselves? We shout it from the virtual rooftops! Our recognition moments are shared across our channels, spreading positivity, and inspiring others.
**Why This Matters to Us:**
At Corefield, we know that a culture of appreciation fuels innovation, collaboration, and success. It's not just about recognizing the work; it's about acknowledging the spirit and dedication that each team member brings to the table.
So here's to YOU - the heartbeat of Corefield. Keep shining, keep being amazing, and let's continue making our workplace a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and appreciated.

When #hiring, I always consider whether I'd enjoy grabbing a 🍻 with the person I'm interviewing. Workdays are typically hectic 🤯 filled with tasks and meetings aimed at driving business impact. However, amidst the hustle, for me, the best moments are spent with my team of 🦄. Thats why, each team member must also be a friend 🙏 This week, we took a morning off to unwind at the beach, enjoying each other's company. Gave me some time to think about #5 pointers for team success:
🔹 Foster Trust: Open communication and collaboration are only possible when trust is at the foundation.
🔹 Cultivate Empathy: Understanding each other's perspectives and supporting one another is crucial for overcoming challenges.
🔹 Celebrate Diversity: Embrace the unique strengths and differences within our team to drive innovation.
🔹 Encourage Growth: Providing opportunities for personal and professional development empowers each team member to reach their full potential.
🔹 Share Success: Celebrate victories together and acknowledge the contributions of every team member along the way.
Together, we're more than just a team of 🦄- we're a family 🦄🦋🌺🎊😘

Before we help Personio and 7people ✨ roll out the red carpet this September, we are still waiting for your nominations for the People Oscars of the year.
As jury members for Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding we know 2024 has showcased some serious awesomeness:
- Oatly inspired everyone with funny job descriptions and dito content
- HEMA’s CTO looked at tech hiring upside down (literally!)
- Mews took talent ambassadorship to a new level with Matthijs Welle nailing his personal impact on hiring
- And Tommy Thomassen uses his amazing hyper-personalized candidate experiences to positively impact ‘good’ companies.
The real question is: who are we missing? Who should take home this prestigious price in your opinion? What employer was able to do things differently - and made their business stand out from the crowd?
We're looking for nominees in all five categories, but especially in Employer Branding and Talent Acquisition 🔥

Forget the gimmicks and platitudes. Top performers want more than just a paycheck.
They want to wake up every day knowing their work matters.
Give them that, and they'll move mountains for you.
The secret to a dedicated, driven team?
It's not the perks. It's not the pay.
It's a shared sense of purpose and the freedom to pursue it.
So start by crafting a mission that resonates. One that inspires your team to bring their A-game every single day.
Then? Get out of their way.
Give them the autonomy to innovate. The resources to take risks. The support to fail forward.
Because when you invest in your people's purpose, you're investing in your company's future.
When considering the top Defense and Aerospace companies worldwide, Lockheed Martin will undoubtedly come to mind. Whether you are interested in this industry or not, odds are you have either heard of Lockheed Martin or its many products. From the F-35 Lightning II to the C-130J Super Hercules, this company has manufactured many iconic products that contribute to its brand.
In addition to being known as a great manufacturer of Defense and Aerospace products, Lockheed Martin has a set of values that set them apart from the competition. https://lnkd.in/dNGhAs9F
These values that they detail on their website are: "Do What's Right," "Respect Others," and "Perform With Excellence." By laying out their values, Lockheed Martin creates a positive brand image in its customer's and the public's eyes and differentiates itself from its competitors. But it also does more than that.
In the book Kellogg on Marketing, Third Edition, written by the marketing faculty at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, one key point is that brands can create value for the company and the customer. The strategic value created by the brand can, in turn, improve the company culture and increase employee recruitment and retention.
These values laid out by Lockheed Martin have helped make it one of the top places to work in 2024 and the past. These values also show why 116,000 employees work at Lockheed Martin, and so many others want to work there.
When 116,000 individuals rally around shared values of doing what's right, respecting others and performing with excellence, the impact is extraordinary! We're thrilled to share that Glassdoor recognizes our culture, naming us one of the best places to work in 2024.

"The biggest challenge that we have when we're reaching out, is being able to break through that barrier of initial belief that this is a typical recruiting call, where you can expect to be talked at for half an hour by someone who takes no real interest in you.
We want to break that pattern. In order to do that, what we have to be able to do with our team is teach them the skill of authenticity. We want to get out of role play, we want to show up and be a real human in this conversation."
See what sets our team apart.

I can personally attest to the challenges faced as a diversity hire, as a young ambitious careerist where I was labeled as such despite having more experience and education than the white individual I reported to, and consistently outperforming them. The necessity for diversity hiring is clearly evident due to the systemic racism ingrained in corporate practices. If racism was not an ingrained part of American history diversity program would not be necessary.
Even thirty years ago and persisting today, hiring processes continue to overlook many educated and talented Black and brown individuals solely based on their race. Current statistics indicate that Blacks still encounter systematic discrimination when it comes to significant purchases such as housing and cars, as well as when applying for jobs, often being offered lower salaries in comparison to their white counterparts. This disparity underscores the urgent need for continued efforts to address and rectify racial inequalities in various aspects of society.

“Oh so you are the diversity hire.
“Welcome to the team!”
😑
Well that didn’t make me feel very
welcome at all.
Years later, I still remember that comment.
Joining a new company, that was how a new colleague greeted me.
It still stings.
Why?
Because the bar wasn’t lowered by hiring me.
I have credentials.
A track record of success.
Deep expertise.
I have the receipts.
I am not a diversity hire.
I earned this seat. 🙌🏾

🌟 Hey Team, 🌟
As we gear up for our next event, I wanted to share some food for thought! Let's dive into the topic of building a stellar team. 🚀
🤔 Staff - are they your biggest asset or a potential nightmare? It's your call. 💼
Remember, you're in control! You recruit, train, motivate, reward, and incentivize your team. Your effort shapes them into an asset or, well, the opposite. 🔄
There's a golden rule: "Hire slow, fire fast." It's tempting to hire quickly out of desperation, but trust me, it's more damaging in the long run. Having the wrong team members can be like having cancer in your business. 🦠
Misery loves company. Unmotivated and disconnected staff spread negativity like wildfire. 🌪️ It's not fair to you or your team. Don't be afraid to cut ties with toxic people. 🚫
In my business, it's simple - fail, and I'll help you; win, and I'll reward you. But constant failure and negativity? Time to part ways. ⏰
🤝 I value those who buy into my vision and company culture. If they don't, it's time for them to find another journey. I don't have time or energy to carry dead weight. ⚖️
So, here's the checklist for a great team:
✅ Clear company direction
✅ Understanding of values
✅ Embracing company culture
✅ Knowing expectations and paths ✅ Proper training
✅ Recognition and rewards
✅ Encouragement to speak up and learn from failures
✅ Zero tolerance for negativity and constant failure
✅ Defined boundaries.
Let's reflect on how we can enhance our team dynamics before our next meeting. Share your experiences in overcoming staffing challenges and let's learn from each other! 🌐💬
Excited to hear your thoughts!

The best companies are filled with:
1. A+ players: These are the "whatever it takes" type people and your superstars.
2. A players: These are consistently high performers who do more than asked.
If you want to attract and keep these types, you need to:
- Pay them well
- Treat them well
- Give them benefits
- Support them personally
- Help them grow their careers
If you don’t, they’re gone, and your company will be filled with B and C players.
