SCAM ALERT - TEXTING

Please be wary of anyone reaching out to you posing as a Beacon Hill recruiter via text, and starting the conversation "Hello, are you free?" (see below). While our recruiters do communicate via text, we would not initiate an outreach in this manner.

How to Protect Yourself from Scam Attempts:

  1. Verify: Always double-check the sender’s information. Contact the person or company directly using official channels.
  2. Be Skeptical: If something feels off or too urgent, it probably is. Scammers often create a sense of urgency to pressure you into quick action.
  3. Never Share Personal Info: Don’t give out sensitive information unless you are 100% sure of who you’re dealing with.
  4. Report: If you encounter a scam, report it.

MONTHLY HIGHLIGHT - ADA Day

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) became law 34 years ago on July 26, 1990. This civil rights law prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in jobs, schools, transportation and public and private places. It ensures equal rights and opportunities for people with disabilities, similar to protections based on race, color, sex, national origin, age and religion. The ADA covers public accommodations, employment, transportation, government services and telecommunications. The ADA is divided into five sections, and in 2008, the ADA Amendments Act (ADAAA) was signed into law, effective January 1, 2009.

This year, we celebrate every ability and continue to advocate for inclusivity and equality.
