My Take On Shopping

I am going to be brief on this entry before heading off to work. I didn't really go to the store to get these computer parts that I wrote about in my last article. But I did manage to get to shop for some food and I have to tell you that there is a lot a person can learn when they go shopping for food rather than other items such as computer parts. Of course there are important items such as clothes and shelter that us humans need. But what one can learn about shopping consciously is economics because customers need to compare prices to see which item is the best buy and also to figure out what price they have to pay after the sales price is deducted from the regular price.

Another thing is that is learned when one is shopping consciously is that they can tell the difference right away between a need and a want since most of us do shop for what we want more so than what we need for our households and that can add up to a lot of things that can get hard to throw out or to get rid of if we get to the point that we have to move to some place where it is affordable. Our wants get more attention than our needs which can cause problems for us in the long run financially because when we get money we usually spend them on the wants while not focusing on the needs which make the money go fast. Then when we need something like maybe a shirt, socks or shoes then we won't have money for those items.

So in a way shopping is good it's just as long as we know what we are shopping for and why we want to make these purchases. But the most important that we should focus on are food, clothing and shelter and other important things that money is needed for such as providing food and shelter for those who are in need of them. Of course shopping for big items just as car is important in some ways if transportation is needed but with taxis and buses running a car would a questionable purchase.
